  1. Smart and Demonland don't usually appear in the same sentence, Demonland has from last count about 30 players either traded or delisted, believe there is a collection being put together to pay out contracts

Your training reports are quality but must you fill every thread on the board with your dismissive rubbish?

  2. I can kind of see Dangerfield like aspects to his game, hard as nails, explosive pace, I reckon he is going to be a genuine game breaker, would like to see us try and lock him away for a few years.

Some of your comparisons are borderline ridiculous at times.

But yes, he's a very good prospect. One of the few that genuinely excite me.

  3. You may learn 2 things from this response:

First: Sarcasm is almost impossible to effectively be portrayed though text.

Second: When using sarcasm and no one understands, you look stupid and aggressive.

Please take this into consideration when on Demonland. Thank You :)

You must be pretty thick to have missed that.

There's no way Morabito would want out. As rjay said, they've stuck by him for a long time now.

Anyone know Tom Sheridan's contract status?

  4. Hawthorn v West Coast - West Coast don't mind the G and will be keen to fight back after that terrible display. Hawthorn have a few handy ins but are still missing a great chunk of players and this could be a mighty close result, even an upset. Eagles by 11

This game's down in Launceston. Rioli and Lewis are back in and Kennedy's out for the Weagles. No chance of an upset here.

  5. What is it about left foot kicks that make so many of them look sublime?

(It's possibly not even backed up statistically, but it just seems there are so many who have this liquid style which isn't seen as often in right foot kicks).

Hawthorn came up with a similar theory 10 years ago and sure enough, left foot kicks had a marginally better kicking efficiency as opposed to right foot kicks.

  6. No I think the coaches would have been delighted with both reactions. JKH burnt Dawesy when he kicked his, it went against the team ethos that is being drilled into the players. He knew it and the other players knew it.

As a side note to that I reckon Dawes burnt JKH at one stage on Saturday night and he didn't end it with a goal either.

Didn't his first goal come against West Coast when we were 12 goals down? I was still disappointed he wasn't congratulated properly by his teammates.
  7. I tend to agree, though it is hard to gauge how much Hodges influence as a leader has positively impacted on the Hawks culture.

    Is it?

Two flags and on the verge of a third - it's not hard to see the influence he has on that club.
