His first half was a huge positive from an otherwise deplorable day. That and McDonald's job on Cameron, towelled him up. Hogan is gonna be special, looks so at home and LOVES the physical stuff. Also LOVES to have the responsibility.

So they're gonna make finals this year? Who out of Hawthorn, Fremantle, Sydney, Port, Crows, Essendon, North or Geelong are they going to supplant?

He's gonna be one of the worst CEO's the leagues had, yeah the price of chips has gone down but meanwhile the inequities in the competition continue to exacerbate. -

How can they make money off their away fixtures? -
Huh???
-
Yeah, they are.
-
As opposed to the seasoned veterans at GWS?
-
How many times did the ball slip through Howes hands today?
-
Maybe not enough to beat the Hawks and Swans but there's enough to match it with bottom 10 teams. Too many excuses, it wasnt about talent today, it was effort.
-
That's been the MFC culture for a long long time. No killer instinct. You'd think after the last decade they'd be so bloodthirsty and out to prove a point. Nup, obviously they were pretty happy with last week's effort and after the first quarter thought it was just gonna happen. Disgraceful.

Was 19-27 at half time (their favour) which indicated they had got on top but not put it on the board.

Definitely. Brilliant film.

I disagree with your comments on Jones, he had one bad game in what, 5 years? Where was his support. I agree with your other sentiments though I'm extremely angry at this performance. The game was there to be won, we were dominating them.early - and we just went to water and STOPPED RUNNING. That's the only reason we let them over run us, we were always second to the ball, didn't run in numbers and didn't get the pressure on them. When Shiel kicked one of his goals from 50, he waltzed past THREE Melbourne players who didn't tackle, block, shepherd or chase. Absolutely disgraceful and that was just one incident. Howe was pathetic today, Watts was seen loping around with joy intensity far too often again. Just all round pathetic. Salem, Viney, McDonald, Jetta and Hogan can probably hold their heads high, Newton did ok til he got knocked out too and Jamar did well early but couldn't stay with Mumford as the game went on. The rest should prepare to be shamed at Mondays film review session.

No it wont.

I am absolutely fuming with this effort since midway through the second quarter. Once again a bunch of Melbourne players getting ahead of themselves and thinking it's just gonna happen. Shows an extremely weak mindset to 1) think this in the first place and 2) not being able to do anything to arrest the momentum once it swings against us.
-
Dawes has been useless as well.
-
Melbourne stopped running. That's the only reason for the change in momentum. Viney is the only player having a crack the rest should hang their heads with that performance since quarter time. Howe has been terrible if Newton didn't get knocked out he should've been subbed off. Can't win it out of the middle either. Combine that with no running and that's why they've dominated.

Crows also certainties. -
http://www.afl.com.au/news/2015-04-10/suns-knocking-on-free-agency-door Interesting the AFL have elected to use this interpretation of "years of service" - I assume under this interpretation it will mean Hogan, Martin, Crouch etc are eligible after 7 years as well? What about Viney considering we apparently had a contract with him when he was 16? Could be a couple of big forwards on the market next year if the Suns don't re-sign them.

Nah definitely wouldn't say no, depends what it's going to cost though. Can imagine they wouldn't want anything less than a top 10 pick, not sure there's many players in our list they'd want that we'd give up either.

How big is Aish? He looks a little undersized for the prototypical Roos midfielder, modelled on the Freo mids.
-
They should demand it as part of the "AFL media accreditation" as well.
