  1. Personally I think it's a bit harsh and I'd doubt that any on here haven't exceeded the speed limit on an open highway.

I would like to run a poll within the leadership group to see if any of them have ever done a similar thing.

by 25km though RF ? Enough to lose his licence.

I don't think so I reckon it is about time the club took a stand the same they did with Chopper and say enough is enough.

We cant have Brock behaving anyway he likes and still expect to be captain. He has not had a great 6 months.

  2. interesting on a day we announce support for a campaign to stop boozing through the month of Feb

    http://melbournefc.com.au/tabid/7415/News/...px?newsId=54755

some bloke on Demonology reckons he saw him at the Windsor Castle on the w/end blind drunk trying to pick fights with everyone (including this bloke who looked at him for just that second too long !)

You reckon with a new coach around the guys would want to do everything they can to impress him, not act like a [censored] and do something like this.

  3. Cotchin's father has said he doesn't want his son at WCE. Big gamble for Eagles to take him knowing that the young bloke will have pressure from his family to leave as quick as he can.

They might think that is too bog a risk and take Palmer who is a local and looks to be a pretty handy player. More chance of him being there ling term.

Either way I would be happy. If Masten has OP then we need to stay away. Our club medicos have no idea how to deal with OP based on our past history with Powell, Moloney, Sylvia etc

  4. Melbourne need members. For that you often need a bit of flash like a Franklin, brown, abllet to get supporters to turn up each week. We have Davey as that role but unfortunately he pales in comparison to many of those other names. Simply I am saying that we need a face, someone who is special. Other then Davey that was Johnstone. A few years ago against Adelaide he kicked 4 in one of the great finals. And when he is on there is no better sight in the Dees jumper. So that is a big lose regardless of if he is terrible around the club.

So it’s looking like a more lifeless, mediocre Melbourne next year unless Sylvia and Davey can have good years. Problem is we need membership now more then ever so lets hope they trade someone exciting in the club. Or use that pick 14 and get the next selwood. One can dream…

Travis is not the reason supporters turn up each week. He is one of the most frustrating players we have (although probably the most gifted).

Guys like Robbo and Newton and Davey are reasons people want to see Melbourne. Not lazy 28 year olds with immense talent but little application for most of the time.

For all the games where TJ has turned it on, there are dozens of poor ones.

  5. With pick 4 we would have a virtually guarenteed A grade player

Wasn't Aaron Fiora pick four !

Pick four doesn't always guarantee you a good player. Chris Judd is a generational player. Pick four and TJ for a once in a generation superstar. Where do I sign.

Don't get me wrong I love Trav and think he is the most skilled player we have, but he is not getting the most out of his talent and maybe a change would be good for him. Anyway the pain I would feel losing him would be outweighted by my immense joy of seeing Judd in red and blue.

  6. Perhaps if we give them Jamar they will keep Jolly as well, do we have to take him? lol

would make one person on Ology happy if Jolly came back. To be honest after the way he left and what he said I doubt the players would want the Grand Final specialist back

  7. Is it time to have it tested?

need to send Neita to the laser vision clinic. long been of the view he is struggling with the eye sight. just can't seem to see the ball the way he used to.

look at old Fox vision. He could mark anything and now he seems to struggle for vision and timing

  8. just watched the DVD at dads (robbief)

absolutely brilliant to watch a bloke not a lot heavier than me absolutely dominate the game.

As a youngster I was never really that much into the footy and I feel a bit down that I never really got the chance to watch this bloke actually play football live. I was mesmerized by the way robbie could create something out of nothing.

It is sad to think that a player of this ilk has not been more highly decorated. Deserves brownlow, premiership and norm smith.

Thanks Ash30 for doing the taping (closet Melbourne supporter you are !) and Markc for dubbing it to DVD.

Have a great chrismtas all. (or whatever festival you celebrate)
