  1. The more time he is in Melbourne, the more I think he won't be wearing the red and blue next year. I just can't see it happening.
  2. I'm in Sydney on Friday all day and I have a feeling something big is going to come out. Chances are I won't hear it in rugby-laiden Sydscum until I get home that night at 10pm.
  3. Judd is our main priority I'd say. I most contract negotiations would be taking a back seat this week at all clubs.
  4. I'd call that "getting your hopes up." Don't fall for it...you'll end up sobbing if it doesnt turn out the way you want.
  5. I wouldn't mind if he goes to Carlton because let's be honest, they won't be much for the next few years even with him. And they'll also look to lose probably Fevola. Essendon are in the same ocean but not the same boat; they've recruited terribly the last few years but aren't all that bad. They're just average. We, on the hand...
  6. Myspace is so much more user friendly. He might want that cause of his groin issues...
  7. Let's consider a few things here. West Coast is a club that adored Chris Judd. He's said publically how much he will miss certain players, and how often do you hear a parting player say 5-6 players names he will miss when they are leaving a club? It's normal 1 or 2. Also, he was god in Perth. Literally god. I'm sure he knows how much this has affected the people of Perth, the WC fans and the WC as a club. Now, let's take into consideration all of this. Is Judd really going to choose a club that has nothing the Eagles need or want in return? While I know the decision is up to Judd, I believe he will liason with the Eagles and determine which club has the necessary players and picks to fulfil a trade that would make-up for their loss of Judd. I've thought about this over the last couple of hours and now I can see how Carlton may actually be a better suitor than Collingwood. Let's face it, WC are going to want either 2 top 10 picks, 1 top 10 pick and a high-calibre player or a top 10, top 20 and perhaps 2 young up-and-comers. Either way, they are going to want a top 10 draft pick out of this. I don't think he is going to pick Collingwood based on what they can offer in the draft. I also don't think he will choose them and hope they can trade up in the draft. To be honest, Collingwood look to lose more than any other club if they want to obtain Judd. If he does choose them, he is practically screwing over the Eagles because I can't see the pies trading two-three high calibre players such as Didak, Davis and Cloke or Peddlebree straight up which is what the Eagles will want if the Pies can't get their hands on a top 10.
  8. I just can't believe that that would come from a club.
  9. If only we were led by a man with great business success and sense that could make us into a million dollar organisation only a few years after it was almost a million in debt. Yeah, he's such a cretin. Don't be jealous. McGuire has turned the Magpies into a hated club but also a popular and incredibly successful one. They are no longer a sporting club, but a brand thanks to him.
  10. we've got him in the bag now
  11. If he looks at the books it would show that we have made steady profits for the last few years, unlike Carlton which is apparent red-hot ravourite. Essendon, Hawthorn, Saints and Bulldogs are out cause of TD leaving Collingwood, Melbourne and Richmond. Richmond is out because of quick success not happening anytime soon and Melbourne is out cause of there [censored]-poor facilities (soon to be upgraded, albeit 150 years too late) and they havent' really made steady profits over the past decade or so until the last couple of seasons, and even then it hardly compares to Collingwood's financial position. Collingwood is a given imo.
  12. You can do that anyway
  13. This has already been said (by yours truely) http://demonland.nozzs.org/forum/index.php...=7483&st=40 7th post down...
  14. I'd put $100 on Essendon or Collingwood.
  15. I just can't understand why Judd would pick Carlton. Yeah, WC are going to have an influence, but he is still going to pick a club. And is everyone forgetting that they have been a nothing club for so long and will be for another 2-3 years, even with Judd? He said it was family reasons he was coming home and that he wanted to win premierships, not money. So, by going on that, why would he pick Carlton?
  16. I can't see Carlton getting him. Everyone is so sure because of their draft picks and money. But the problem is they are a shambles on the field atm. Why would he want to go there? In saying that, I can't see us getting him either. I guess it's just years of disappointment and being let down and getting my hopes up that reassure me it's not going to happen.
  17. I'd settle for AFL Domination but the more the better! PS. See Stewie on the Emmy's last night???
  18. BOO-YAH!!!!!!
  19. It's not just about being brilliant. I think Brock plays for the jumper not for celebrity status like some players. He's had a bad year. But so did the MFC.
  20. That's one hell of a victory... But you made one mistake... Jud plays for Carlton apparently.
  21. From the afl website: http://afl.com.au/Season2007/News/NewsArti...px?newsId=51240 Hmmm... <_<
  22. Jaded - what incentives do Carlton have?
  23. Arghhh, can't watch it; on a mac :s
  24. Red Sox style, down in the Prelim, 50 points at half time. Judd has been benched since early in the 1st with a hammy. Shot and gone entering 3rd. Judd returns, leads us to victory. Smash it in the GF easily by 10 goals, Judd BOG. I'm about 5km's ahead of myself right now...
  25. I think the PC is over now isn't it?
