Watt's was injured during last weeks game. Magner needs a rest. Davey foot injury. Spencer showed improvement but with Jamar in Martin stays. Moloney did little when he was subbed on. Dunn has a weeks holiday. What is so suspicious. Tell your son all will be ok just dont put a time line on it.

Thought it was interesting after the usual shaking of hands a lot of the players rushed over to Blease and had a bit of a love in. I don't know what it signifies but he didn't seem to have an overly long conversation with Scully. Maybe he is staying but then again....Maybe I am reading too much into it.

On 3AW they were going on about Melbourne supporters going overbaord with the booing and Matthew Richardson said that we did seem to have a problem Mitch Clarke accepting the money. I think it seems lost on all the media that it wasn't the money issue with $cully it was how he did it and the lies he told. Mitch was leaving Brisbane and it was our good luck that he chose us. There lies the difference and aren't we all glad. Mitch played a better quarter and a bit than the unmentionable played the whole game.

not sure about Bate but am happy that Davis has been named an emergency. It gives him encouragement that he is close to senior selection. We dont know about matchups, injuries behind the scenes. When not privy to such information I think it is very hard to be critical. What I dont understand is why Couch doesn't seem to be getting a senior gig. I cant remember if he has been nominated as an emergency in the past. I am sure if their selection is warranted that many of the Casey boys will gain a spot in the seniors when decisions have to be made as to who stays and who is gawn.

Cant wait. How pathetic. A game against GWS and it is (hopefully) going to be a highlight of our season.

There was a holding the ball decision against Melbourne on Monday right in front of us in the MCC Members. The ump was standing about 10m away behind them. The Melbourne player didn't even have the ball. MCC Members went beserk. The ump wasn't sighted so how could he have made the decision. Obviously only based on the filth screaming "ball". I know that it probably evens out over the game but it just seems like we get raw end all the time.

I know I should know it but who is number 11 throughout. What a mongrel.

It was obvious what he said. I'm not talking in depth heart to heart but he should have stopped and taken the verbal from Neeld. I am not a Morton basher here but yesterday there were three crucial errors he made. I do believe that his attack on the ball has improved from last year. All I am saying that if your coach says something to you dont ignore them and walk away.

Isnt there a rule of how far of the ball you are allowed to block/shepherd. You can bet though if we start to do it we will get pinged!

After seeing vision of Neeld saying to Cale "What the f...were you doing" as he walked past that Cale should have had the guts to stand there and take it from his coach. Just poor.

We need to identify another midfielder and a "crummer". They hurt us a number of times with those short "a..sed" crummers of theirs. If Nathan Brown doesn't get cited and Tappy does I will go ballistic. What he did to Sylvia was cowardly. I cannot understand how the umpires missed it because it was so blatant especially when a player runs off with a trainer holding his face. I love the hardness in Tappy which is why I love to see Dunn as Sub. He brings a little bit of attitude with him. Tappy will never die wondering that is for sure. I would hate to see him out because I was hoping he would run through the unmentionable. All in all thought the fight back was good. In the first eight games that would have blown to over 100pts.

Slightly off topic but it was good tonight to hear Don give Mike Sheahan a wak over the head with his comments about Sheahan's "disgusting" comment. A member of my family was sitting in front of him at the game and was giving him heaps. Said it was most satisfying.

We saw it on the replay and couldnt believe it wasnt free kicked and subsequently reported. I think it was Courtney Dempsey but not100%. Will have to watch the replay - again.....It was the same action exactly.

Just finished watching the replay screaming at the screen. I cant believe it but I have been to every frigging game except for tonight . Had to go to a wedding secretly happy that I didn't have to go through another agonising game. I went and sat in the toilet listening to the radio then had to excuse myself and sit in the car to listen to the last quarter. What a win. The absolute determination which has been missing for so long. Everyone was throwing themselves at the ball and the man. They found space and run and carry. I loved Beamers new found attitude and his emotional reaction to our goals. Of course the reaction of the whole team at the siren. This is a group of men playing for each other, their coach and their Club. God, I wish I had been there. Otherwise the wedding was nice.

IMO we now have a football department that will support, nurture and DEVELOP our picks instead of whatever happened in the past. We are generally all in agreement that we have stuffed up our picks in terms of development. Todd Viney will see this upcoming crop with entirely different eyes to Prendergast. Reason why he had to go. He wasn't on board with the Plan. Todd is on the same wavelength as Neeld and Missen(spelling). I agree the information from Jack as far as on field and off field attitude will be invaluable.
