I didn't mind Viv. He was solid. Not really AFL standard, but he played within his limitations, did his job and mostly avoided turning it over. At the time that put him ahead of most of our list.

That would be a truly crap deal for us. Trade Watts for a four spot upgrade? Hell no. Maybe Watts plus our second round pick for their first pick. That could be a little closer to even. Personally, I'd like to see Watts play a full season on the wing. I think he'd be great value for us. We're so desperate for someone who can deliver the ball properly for our forwards.

It's not, but give him a two year deal and spend year one rebuilding his body the way we want it. He might come good.

He's been injured pretty much the whole year.

He's another one who probably couldn't hurt to take with a late pick. He's had a lot of injuries but he's meant to be a decent ball-user. Is he any worse than some of our fringe players? Worst case we give up a pick in the 50s for a Casey player. No big deal.

In all honesty, I wouldn't mind him as a Rookie. They say he's going to be a great ruck coach for starters. He'd be great to help bring on the two youngsters, he'd dominate for Casey and if needed he could step in and ruck for the seniors. There are worse ideas.

So we give up three first round picks for two KPPs? A bit steep I think.

I like this for the club as a whole, but I hope he doesn't come to regret sticking around for one last year like some have in the past. He's starting to slow down and struggles to impact games. He's going to find himself on the fringes unless he has a hell of a pre-season.

And like Harmes, is a dangerous forward option. Use him as a small forward rather than a mid and his turnovers are less of an issue.

Much like us, if you put enough pressure on the midfielders they fall apart. You'd almost think we have the same game plan or something.

Franklin's defensive work has been non-existent tonight. The second the ball is out of reach he stops.

I'd kill to have Green in our coaching team. He was a damn smart player, a good kick and from the few times I've seen him quoted in the media seems to be pretty savvy about tactics and trends in the game. As for who we get rid of to make room for him, a certain forward line coach seems a good candidate. Green is one person who knows how to make a lead. He could certainly teach our forwards how to create space for each other, and with luck even get our mids passing to the lead properly.

There is a rule specifically prohibiting staging for a free kick. Surely the MRP have the authority to review that decision and suspend him for that? It was quite literally a dive.

I wonder if this means Robbo is signed with one of the Promo agencies who book people for speaking and MCin engagements. They would probably prefer to have him working this way rather than as a club employee. More flexibility and probably better pay.
