  1. Welcome Gotzy I like your first post!
  2. Goes to Dyson Heppel of Essendon. Bad luck for Tappy. Line Ball based on stats.
  3. Yeah, same call with Goddard and Reiwoldt. Nah nah nah...
  4. Ed Curnow Carlton?? 24 disposals 5 marks 1 goal 7 tackles...
  5. McBurnie was a disgrace all day and will be in the dewkickers next week.
  6. Awfully quiet from the Roost It?? I heard a pin drop...
  7. Excellent game. The criticism in the past from me was that he didn't do enough damage to opp'n teams, the quick kick out of the centre was often ill directed and he often got caught trying to break tackles. Yesterday he was outstanding with 22 contested possessions, some fabulous clearance work and a great goal. He and Petterd turned the game for us. Great work. I hope it's what we can expect for the rest of the year.
  8. 6 Moloney 5 Trengove 4 Tapscott 3 Jamar 2 Bennell 1 Martin
  9. Lots of smart tap ons, shepherds and blocks today. Thought he did his bit without being outstanding. Took a good contested mark. Sometimes thinks too much. I wish he would play a bit more ion instinct.
  10. Anyone see the number?? I can't seem to find it. Seemed around 40-42k but wouldn't mind knowing ......
  11. He was certainly hungry when he came on. But I reckon he plays like that all the time so he makes my best 22.
  12. Saw a really good example today of it working in our favour with Petterd and working against the Swans with Seaby. There weren't any injuries to speak of so maybe it was not ideal from seeing if the sub rule works overall but Petterd had a major impact when he came on while Seaby was slow and had no impact in a game played at breakneck speed. I am sure the club will scrutinise all the games on the weekend to see how everyone worked around it but Petterd was busting to get the pill when he came on and with Beemer changed the course of the game.
  13. Good game from Steff today. Took some good grabs and aside from a couple of wobbly kicks when the pressure was on I thought he really stood up today. For a guy that hasn't played regularly in one spot I thought his support of Jamar was excellent.
  14. Oh yeah the 32 game player Jack Grimes. Yeah, Dud.
  15. Wouldn't think that unusual. They usually all look after the game like they have been through the wringer. Hope there are issues though for next week!
  16. Any word on Blease please?
  17. No way. He's way too short. My tip all along has been Martin - height, speed, endurance, leap.
  18. Forward line looks like it could trouble a depleted Swans defence...
  19. We played in a GF in 2000 with Robertson at CHF and Bizell at CHB. That's pretty short!
  20. Nice grammer. Not too Dapper, Dan.
  21. I think you'll find Newton will be useless to us as a Sub - not because he has a pea heart and can't play football. No that's not it. I think his broken wrist might have more to do with it
  22. They weren't full of 18 year olds for a start. And BTW we only won 8 games last year.
  23. How many games do you think the Gold Coast will win and who will they be???? I reckon there are a possible 8 games they could win: Rd. 4 Melb Home Rd 5 Port A Rd 7 Bris Hm Rd 12 North Hm Rd 17 Rich A Rd 21 Bris A Rd 22 Adel Hm Rd 23 Melb A My guess is 3.
  24. Sydney have a lot of injuries but they are hurting after our thrashing last year. They will be fired up...
  25. No-one really GAF as you put it so nicely but it was interesting to me that he put in four demons and left out a pretty important one. And maybe Moloney is valued more outside this site than in it.
