  1. I'm outta here.
  2. Goal to Petterd
  3. Are Davey or Morton playing?
  4. +1
  5. Blease has shown something. Howe takes a speccy. Monty for the best first year player.
  6. Wow. Just ineptitude. Loose players everywhere. 5 x 10m chip kicks and GOAL. Centre bounce infrimgement to WCE.. OMG.
  7. 50 pts to 9. Has been in our fwd line maybe 4 times??
  8. Training drill. There are so many loose WCE players in our fwd line its F******. Why do we play 10m off our man in defence????? Why can't we pick players up. In't s not a hard game. Our players are so STUPID. Their attack on the footy is under 18s like.
  9. Oh dear. Cox is playing. I hope Jamar is OK to go.
  10. Agree he has had a terrible year but like the last 4 years our delivery into the fwd line has been terrible also. Will play next year, no question.
  11. Jon Ralph suggested Jamar (pronounced Gem argh FFS!!) hasn't trained for a few days and was unlikely. Also that Cox was doubtful.
  12. One thing I have been told by someone at the club is that we are trying to implement a press and use tactics to defeat a press (could have fooled me). But it is heavily reliant on players playing a role and filling a spot. Only one player out of place and it looks like a sieve with good sides cutting through it with ease. This has been our problem. Our players don't work hard enough or for each other. Hence most times we look second rate trying to do this. The well drilled teams look impenatrable. Its no secret who they are and they have mongrel coaches and good on field leaders. It was hinted that Sylvia was one of the worst offenders and hence his dropping last week. Will watch with interest today. It's sunny here now but supposed to rain later on. Hopefully it holds off (I know, there is a roof)...
  13. Last time we got killed by the press. Could hardly get it out of our 50m defensive zone. Let's see if we have learned anything today!
  14. Malthouse did say something like that but he is the master of obfuscation isn't he? It suits his purpose to say that. He has also said he wants to continue coaching. So the two statements don't align do they given he has committed to the Pies next year (and contractually for the next 2 years). You say you would believe Malthouse but we know that Malthouse broke his contract at the Weagles to come to Collingwood. So what he said I take with a grain of salt.
  15. OK you have said it now. You don't like him - intensely. So maybe your view is a little jaundiced.
  16. Move on. PLease...
  17. What experience did Schwab have?? None. He has worked infooty al his life and done a few business courses. I think its a problem.
  18. I guess you don't rate coaching at VFL level as being in the game.
  19. I also thought very interesting. WHen you get a 'development' coach they spend a lot of time with young players trying to mould them into the players they ultimately want. The problem is there is no point at which you say "Stop, you have developed enough. Now I'm going to be a tough taskmaster of a coach because you have learned everything there is to know". DB wasn't able to demand performance like a Malthouse would because of his 'relationship' with the players. It was a criticism I always had of Daniher. Way too friendly/matey with the players. COudln't/wouldn't drop Yze, RObbo and WHite when it was clear they were underperforming for a long time. Making the transition is very difficult for a coach. That is why DB (while having been a bit dudded IMO) is probably best to have been moved on. Hopefuly we can get a See You Next Tuesday coach like Clarkson who will demand better performances. Our players need a rocket up their clacker. They have had enough mollycoddling.
  20. Good memory. One of those desks with a big bottom drawer!
  21. A deal is a deal. If our CEO tried to squirm around it then it is deplorable behaviour. Not saying he did. But if he did.
  22. I don't agree. Is still in the game. Did pretty well at Adelaide and Geelong, record wise. Port has done well. And unless there is a major character flaw don't you think someone who has been there stepped back, had time to refine and reflect, could come back in and be even better the next time?? His playing credentials are first rate. I just think about if I went back to a previous role, work wise, I would be a lot better the second time around. John Northey was better the second time around. SO were a number of coaches. Mick Malthouse for another.
  23. Kaspersky is sponsoring a RL team in Sydney. Given they got to No 2 in teh Virus protection space in Victoria you would have to say the sponsorship worked well for them. Hankook appears to be a case of being treated badly from what I have heard but cannot confirm. According to a post on 'ology someone who's missus works at BoM claims that they have missed out on the gig to a Korean company. $1.9m pa. I imagine it will be revealed at tonights Foundation Heroes dinner.
  24. Did hear BoM from the club a few weeks back and didn't want to spoil their party, It's a good get for the club and is a big lift in sponsorship. I am still disappointed that we have lost two other sponsors though. CEO needs to lift his game.
  25. You are a troll aren't you? Davey has had by any stretch an appalling year. And sadly none of the brothers have any excuses for poor years except maybe Wona.
