Hey, even I acknowledge his last two games he has put a lot more effort into his play. I have no doubt he has been told what he has to do. Rawlings said he didn't have the trust of the players over summer and he looks like he is working to rebuild that. I so want him to be a good player who puts in week in week out. It's simply that I am at my wits end because he has been given chance after chance. And many of us have been disappointed time and time again with insipid efforts. So here's hoping I and many others here are proven wrong.

Was chatting with someone who watched Jack play on the weekend for school. He was super impressed with his skill level and he was a clear stand out player. Probably helped by the fact that he is doing some training with the Dees etc but there is no doubt he will be a very good player...

Jones is 24yo and has played 119 games. Should be coming into his prime and with some help around him will be a rock in our midfield for some years ahead. Our past problems have been around players that have good games and then go missing, COnsistent mids have been in short supply around the Dees. This criticising him have rocks in their head. Committed, dedicated, fearless, tough, professional and someone you would want in the trenches. Just think we gave brad Miller 130 games and he is not a patch on this kid

The team gave a great effort tonight. 100 tackles and pure commitment, They just didn't have the finishing skills but as one who has been highly critical of the team's effort I was thrilled with it tonight, I just can't see why there is such a gulf week to week in their intensity. If they gave that every week I'd be happy.
