Freo have reportedly offered him $1m a year for 5 years! As if we would be anywhere near that for Cloke. We Need MIDS!!!!!! Give me a Josh Kennedy (Syd) anyday. And Sydney got him for very little.

FA is something that any single player could have done by suing the AFL FOR RESTRAINT OF TRADE. THE AFL (oops sorry for the caps) simply bowed to the inevitable and reached a compromise solution with the players union. Not sure you can blame them for FA. As for poaching their position is a disgrace.

When we have a player in the backline who can hit a target. Maybe Strauss can become our Luke Hodge. It is incredibly important to launch attacks from defence. We have been poor at it over the past few years largely because we turn it over so much. Watts is doing the role superbly. We don't actually need him in the fwd line ATM. Martin will come in for CLark as a back up ruckman. With Col and Jared we have more than enough marking power.

If GWS or Gold Coast leave Viney alone, he will slip through to the second round as a father-son pick, making it more appealing for the Dees to give up pick 4.

Not quite true. Junior missed around 6-7 weeks with hamstring injuries in his final year and the concern was he wouldn't be able to see out a whole new year I believe.

TJ finished in the TOP 10 in our B& F twice - once when he won and another time when he came 3rd. Wasted talent. His best was superb but yet another of ours who couldn't make it to elite because of work ethic (or club culture).
