We kicked 10 points in a row. Won't win too many games with that accuracy. Even though three I think were posters, we had a number where a player from 50m ish kicks the ball to the goal line and it is easily rushed through. FMD its a schoolboy error. If you can't make the distance kick it 30m and create a contest. I know they are only footballers but aaaarrrggghhh.

We kicked 10 points in a row including two posters from Vince in the 1st quarter. They tried hard all night which I haven't seen for some time from a Melbourne team. Tyson got caught a few times and turned it over about three more. Spencer tried hard but don't think he tapped it to our advantage once. And around the ground was next to useless. Dunn showed a lot. Watts showed a lot but fitness wasn't there in the end. Jones N and M were both pretty good. Vince is a great get. Cross is a workhorse. Turnovers killed us all night. Take where we finished last year, look at our effort - we have improved. Add some first choice players, get rid of some of the NQRs and there is something to be liked. But geez we have a long way to go.

It's clear he is not a power forward. No news there. When FItzy went down it was pretty easy for the Aints to shut us down.

One thing that hasn't changed: the craps teams get the worst umpires. The best umps are given the 'blockbuster' TV games. Sadly we always seem to get the crud.

Because Hird thinks he has done nothing wrong and that they were forced by the AFL into a damaging admission. The AFL is now 'punishing' the Hirds unjustly. Its not right but thats how I think they are feeling.

I have said this before but I am still staggered they have done nothing. John Fahey says he is flabberghasted they haven't begun an investigation as well. If they do begin an investigation almost 2 yrs after the events took place its equally scandalous. As is 'outsourcing' their investigation to ASADA.if that is how it turns out...
