MIght as well have Watts kick in. He can't take a contested mark to save his life, but he can kick. Might as well get some use out of him.

His weak efforts yesterday are worthy of being dropped. He showed incredible lack of interest. There is no possible defence of his game, Now I back the coach to deal with that. They are not stupid. They see it too. How they deal with it is really the key. We have seen 5yrs of it and our patience is exhausted. Maybe the new coaching panel still have reserves of patience. We will see.

Jordie was woeful today. Gave away too many frees. Tackled high. Poor delivery.

The club loves him. Real swing man. Can play fwd and kick long goals. Kicks huge barrels from the kick ins. Rarely beaten one on one. Harshly treated on D'Land.

Lynden Dunn had the barrels going about 70m. Repeatedly. Most impressive. The other thing was the one on one coaching Jade Rawlings was giving to Georgiou. How to position himself, harass, niggle and spoil. Also the third man up option and the footwork involved in getting to the contest but also being in the correct position. Also impressive. But then I don't get to training very often,,, Got there late. Met fellow and even met a fellow poster RGRS

Amazing how we can hit targets when the confidence is up. The running to space was really good, the tackling excellent and the delivery to the fwd line largely good (perhaps cos we had a fwd line!) Quite a bit of playing for each other on Saturday which we haven't seen for a while. ALl of a sudden players aren't worried about their own stats or their opposite player but rather the team thing. The Roos philosophy showed itself. Long way to go but nice green shoots....

Jordie has been 'freed' up in a sense. With a decent midfield Jordie can be a much better player. It was pretty much he and Jones and they took a lot of punishment. His possessions were always under huge presssure and not always good. A bit less pressure on him now. I watched him closely and he beat Gibbs hands down. Gibbs had a few possessions but was ineffective. Their midfield without Murphy or Gibbs is pretty poor so we shut them down effectively. Jordie's task now is to hurt them like Jones did to Murphy. Doesn't have the same talent but can still be a key player for us.

I wrote to 3aw about 4 times complaining about Der Wayne. Got generic responses. In the end I haven't listened to their show for 5yrs. If he is commentating, I turn it off. Disgraceful, condescending, snide, arrogant tossbag.
