  1. Cross will be pizzed to miss the return doggies match.... Not half as pizzed as I am that he is out for up to 6...... Tough as nails....some serious body on line stuff in last two weeks.
  2. You are right. It was indulgent. Just kidding, Its running. That was as clear as day on the weekend. We were second to the ball, didn't lead and were totally static. That puts pressure in the kicker, increases turnovers etc. Roos is not telling them to play that way but its clear to me they are processing the instructions and are still scared of stuffing up. Hence the static nature of our play. That will change and our kicking to position will improve as well as our I50s.
  3. Good point I hadn't thought of that!
  4. As bored as I am with this saga I hope its stuffs up the next few years for this filty team of drug cheats.
  5. That accords with what I saw live.
  6. Will watch the replay to check your thoughts. You could well be right but I saw Jamar in front most of the time being pushed under the ball. His taps were largely ineffective and aside from one outstanding mark on the members wing thought he was outplayed. Numerous times he has two on one against him particularly with the kick ins which is clearly not his fault but I thought Goldstein had the better of him.
  7. Lazy effort today. Stop start. No running up the field. Kicking to position was atrocious with players continually sitting under the ball waiting to get smashed by some nobody Roos player. Howe had his worst game for a long time. Either went up as a third man and took out two of his team mates or hit it to a Roos player. Dean Kent hardly sighted. Viney did nothing. Salem looked tired. Pedo didn't seem to do anything and was surprised how many stats he had. Bail was very ordinary. Jetta has his colours lowered. Jamare was smashed. Tyson was ineffective. NJones tried hard but has to stop calling for the ball when he is in a bad position. Too many times today he ran behind a player looking for a cheap h/ball and he got pounced on. Bernie was stellar. Our kick ins were unbelievably repetitive. We would huddle. The Roos would zone. Dunn would chip to himself, run to the right side and shoot a low bullet to a 2 on 1. Really disappointing day. They are a cra p football club with cra p supporters.
  8. Out and out champion. 7 yrs on the list for 28 games. Ultimate list clogger with well know fan boi who would come back in another life as the dirt under Juice's toenail.
  9. At least he was inside the boundary which can't be said of the Betts' goal....
  10. Oh man, What a bump. Sauce with that humble pie?
  11. Little We are not guilty because our players did not take banned drugs. Little again We don't know what the players took, neither do ASADA They are cooked
  12. You have posted twice more on the subject after saying "the end" simply prolonging the garbage that these threads descend in to. Stop.
  13. The rules of engagement for ASADA and WADA I think are are different to usual legal processes whereby you get charged, are shown evidence and have it tested in court. Instead, ASADA issues show cause notices and your have to respond to prove your innocence. You can probably challenge it later but it probably has to work that way to stop, say athletes issuing legal procedings in order tha they can compete at the Olympics for example. Its possible if this were the not case that you could compete at the Olympics by tying up WADA in legal battles for years until your running career is over and you have already run at the olympics. Then it won't matter.
  14. I always get confused by this. Does that mean they cant come in? Or do all emergencies get names for Casey? What us the rule with interchange players or players named in the actual team? Sorry of this is the wrong place for it..
  15. Nicho would be a better option. Much bigger tank and as fast.
  16. The problem with this strategy is that Ess are challenging the process and the validity of ASADA conducting a joint investigation. They are saying throw this thing out because the investigation was unlawful, They are not challenging the evidence and so the evidence won't be presented. Its a massive red herring and cowardice personified. Akin to Capt Narcissus saying "I take full responsibility" ha ha ha ha Just like the Captain on the Costa Concordia
  17. Please...FMD
  18. Ha What a joke. I think you have been Punk'd. Investigate every club but Essendon!! Has to have been put out by some feral Essendon muppet
  19. You aren't getting this. They don't need positive tests. They have a long paper and text trail and verbal evidence and intent (ie players signed waivers for the use).. A retired federal court judge as well as the lawyer who drafted the WADA code and snared Lance A have been over this with a fine tooth comb..
  20. Amazing how a coach can instill confidence in a player. Its almost like "I'm going to play you for the next 4 weeks. You don't have to star but just do these 4 things and you will keep your spot" A bit like Watts said recently "do your role". Once players understand they are only required to do a certain number of non-negotiable things they can relax and hopefully flourish. And not get punished for the odd mistake. Go Nev. Have always thought he had shown a bit but he was never settled in a spot.

  22. I don't believe ASADA will have to present the evidence in a trial about whether the investigation is valid or not. So it won't uncover any evidence. I stand to be corrected but thats my understanding. Ess are trying to knock the whole thing on its head but all it will do is mean they and the players haven't co-operated per se and any potential discounts go out the window. Hence ASADA is saying to the players 'think very carefully about what you do here'.
  23. Was only beaten once in a one on one contest. Thats pretty impressive.
  24. Essendon are challenging the validity of the investigation, not the evidence collected. Cowardice. They are saying ASADA does not have the authority under its charter to conduct a joint investigation with the AFL. The ultimate red herring just like the Demetriou did it wold goose chase. The sooner they are booted out of the comp the happier I will be,
