I don't mind it. He is trying to push things. We need to push things. He is trying to lead and take the game on. He has plenty of licence as far as I am concerned. And even if he makes a few mistakes I love his passion and aggression. The positives far outweight the negatives. I wish more would play with his passion.

Now you are twisting it. By that logic Jade Rawlings is reposible for the team's performance this past two years. Your argument doesn't bear scrutiny.

This just isn't right. Yes he was coach for three years. They won 20 games in 3yrs and they got rid of him because the players revolted. No-one wanted to coach them , they were a basket case, their captain left, as did their CEO, and arguably their best player was out for 12 months. Everyon had the Bullies on their bottom 4 teams. They turned it around very quickly. Why? Not because of Macca. You do Beveridge a diservice. The protoges of Clarkson have a strong track record of short term success because they have implemented a game plan that works and they have got buy in from the players. Beveridge has done wonders. His system works. The whole Macca is a genius thing is stretching it beyond belief. For the record I think he is a good development coach but you are giving him way too much credit.

So here is another thought. We are blaming our loss on bad kicking for goal largely. But this year we are in the top echelon of goal kicking accuracy. We have been due a poor game accuracy wise and maybe this is it. Imagine if we had been kicking poorly for most of the year? Or more often than not? Or even just league average? We could easily be on 4 or 5 wins. How would our year be looking then? Pretty ordinary. And the calls for Roos to leave quickly and handover to Goodwin would be deafening. Arguably our accurate kicking this year has hidden some major defects.

I would have thought by now players know that effort is non-negotiable. It's not 'when I feel like it'. I would drop him on that alone.

We have lost games this year by playing an underweight/inexperienced defensive line. If that's the masterplan so be it but it is clearly at the expense of winning games. I am no Garand fan. In fact far from it but I would rather him than OMac at this point. And surely Dunn cant be that stupid as to not follow instructions from the coaches. Winning games for this team will do more than playing OMac and losing games. He has had plenty of game time and knows what to do to get his body right. I am unconvinced of his footy talents but he is simply a liability against stronger opponents and we are gifting goals to the opposition each week. Finishing the year with 10 wins will be better than fininshing on 7 wins and getting 5 games into Oscar. Just get him to the gym for the next 3 months and tell him to put on 15kgs if they love him that much.

He can have time in the 2's. He is a 1 on 1 liability full stop.

Our 3rd quarters this year have been appalling. Hope they get a rocket at 3/4 time.
