Did the dogs no harm! The issue is when to handball and its effectiveness. Too many times we handball to a stationary target or at the players feet etc. Skills that the dogs have shown can be improved rapidly

You either need to change your meds or start taking them.

Each year under Roos our average age decreased. We have the talent it's game time and incremental personal improvement from a young list. As well as a game plan that holds up. oh and leadership that has been sadly lacking......

Our next years first round would be pick 18 I assume??

I havent yet read the article but Kent is a poor performer in nearly all of our losses. That is an indictment on him and something he needs to fix.

Not sure this is the right forum for this but she sadly passed away from breast cancer. Rebecca Wilson dead at 54 She ignited a lot of comment on this site, particularly over the EFC drugs fiasco but was fearless and forthright. RIP.

Weed is like a lot of young players. They give them a taste to get them experience with the speed and physicality of the game. Its a natural part of the learning period. Clearly he is the future but younever know how long these guys take. Pedo is insurance. A real swing man if ever there was one. Has a great highlights reel but has never been able to put it together for a consistent period. He was overlooked many times in the last 2 years but we need him as back up.

And he has only played around 60 games so his body should hold up for a while yet......

It's not that simple. They had Hodge, Lewis, Mitchell and a bunch of other mids. They did offer Joey a 1 year deal but he took a 3y deal from Roos. In retrospect it was a huge blunder particularly given the name but it hasn't damaged them in a cultural sense nor performance sense

I think Hawkins played a blinder in a GF a few years back didn't he? From memory that was better. But yes, you'd be happy with Boyd , particularly after the rubbish he has copped (which is about 1/50th of what Jack Watts has copped).

I get all of that. I just don't agree with it. Beveridge has been an outstanding coach from day 1. I think the list he had was pretty ordinary and in total disarray. What he has is a game plan, not unlike Clarko, where players can come and go but they all know and perform their role. He has turned ordinary players into good ordinary players. He also re-defined roles for his senior players like MBoyd, Murphy and Morris as he realises they are the heartbeat of the club. What worries me about Goodwin is that he has never coached a side at any level (excluding the NAB Cup this year.)
