God help us.
If this is the sort of defeatist rubbish our coach is going to try spoon feed us week after week, he may as well resign now as it sounds like he has given up!

whens moloney out of conract? looks like the type of player we need at the club. big body, hard at it, awesome in the middle. could even work well with Jamar?
Lets see Brent play a game like that against a good side and then I'll be upset the big sook was allowed to leave.

Look it was a simple decision at the time - we all knew we needed an outside runner and a good kick so we picked Toumpas.
Toumpas is not just an outside runner.
He could easily also be classified as inside. He will go and get his own ball just as quickly as he will break, receive the ball and use it cleanly.

Hogan is next year, we recruit Jump Jockeys.
Toumpas impressed, not so much his game - though he has silky skills - but the way he got pummelled three times in the last quarter, he was hurt, but got up, got into it and continued to put himself in the firing line. The kid will be a gem mark my words.

2 very good goals against the run of play keeping it even, Willie belted us that quarter

Not me... Can't stand Sooker. http://weknowmemes.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/05/soccer-players-pretend-theyre-hurt.jpg
Just a gag, not actually aimed at you, but a regular poster will have a chuckle when he sees it

Another Liverpudlian, God help us!

Jetta maybe, but we need some one with the lateral step.
they don't have to be Usain Bolt. just an impeccable reader of the ball off hands around the packs, & a great side ways movement & strong through the hips.
Ablett jnr, sorry...
Jetta is quicker going sideways than in a straight line!

Would have thought they would be considering Barry for this role

Big fan of Tapscott, think he will keep getting better.
On the topic of courage, one play really had me happy. Tappy put a pass over Daveys head (intentionally and intelligently IMO), Davey backed up with the flight of the ball, didn't know what was behind him, probably expected to get crunched, but only had eyes for the ball and took the mark. Another courageous bit of play, one that gave me great hope that the Davey of old may be on the way back.

Is this his 10th nomination in the last 26 matches?
Has been nominated more.
If he wins it, it will be 10/26 as far as mark of the week

Brisbane wanted to keep Clark, Collingwood players told Dawes that he would struggle to get a game and should look elsewhere. Huge difference.
The players told Dawes did they?
Wonder what the coaches do there...

He just has it all - the strength, the speed, the beautiful foot skills - if only he had consistency.
Gold.
Gave me a good laugh. Intentional or not, thanks.

Repeat starting now on ABC

A good night.
Got another 27 members on board. Had Jack Grimes dad in there working the phones and getting more members on board. Lovely bloke and an understandably very proud father.
Also got a great message of encouragement for the volunteers by text from Jack.
Was pretty proud of myself tonight, had a good one, bringing in just under $1000 for the club.- 7

For those that haven't been, these nights are actually quite enjoyable.
It's a good feeling giving something back to the club.

Our first middle two quarters were appalling.
Funny as I thought our second middle two quarters was exactly the same

He was referring to people who don't pay (to the MFC) to get in... including some in the press-box
No, he was referring to critics.
Looking at my previous post, left that out. I'm very confident he was referring to his critics, whether they be members or not.
He may deny that, but ATM his credibility isn't exactly sky high
-
Similar to someone previously, i think the 'cheap seats' comments was well misunderstood. He was not referring to any demographic. He was referring to people who feel they have a right to comment on our club, to bag us regardless of what we do, who are unsupporting, who thrive when we are in the [censored].I dont think he was reffering to the die hard supporters that turn up every week to support our boys.
I think he was referring to rank and file members.
I think he was referring to the supporters that realise that this man, while he may have been a good and loyal number two has been a disaster as a president. He is referring to those of us that are critical of him.
I don't want the whole board gone, but Don, as president, has been appalling. He should resign.

Trengove, fitness wise, would be a long way behind the rest of the team. He could hardly train from December till the season started. He needed a few more games at Casey before coming into the team. Sadly, a 70-80% fir Trengove is better than most on our list

Watts had some shocking moments today, where his lack of intensity was appalling.
At same time, in the 2nd, in front of the members, he copped it big time in one passage of play.
He corralled his opponent, hanging off him. If he attacked the player, GWS were away as by committing, the GWS player could have handball end over him they were away. By hanging off his player, he prevented this handball, worked his opponent 10 m backwards and forced him to do a kick over his shoulder.
That kick was marked by a Melbourne player and set up an attack.
It was perfectly played by Watts, all the while the masses were giving it to him!

Sorry Don, but that's just pathetic.
You are under the pump because you were not entirely truthful with the AFL and your fans.
If the kitchen is a bit hot, it's cause you left the stove on full blast with the door open

Just pity he didn't floor that dog ......

Think you may find it was more to do with issues with Daniher.
Am not 100% about that, but there are people here who could tell the story if they want.
