  1. Are you saying he is def and blind?
  2. Just did a search: http://www.adelaidenow.com.au/sport/afl/longer-dogs-deal-wins-brent-prismall/story-e6freck3-1226529999492
  3. RPFC, think you are wrong about the 2 year mandatory contract, pretty certain Prismall knocked Port back as he wasn't prepared to move interstate for a one year contract. As for being 2 years behind North, they finished 9th 2 years ago....
  4. Watch about 5 minutes before that goal in the last. when he spills a low chest mark, gets up walks and bangs his hands together in frustration. His opponent got up, was running straight away got a handball receive (at which point Col started chasing some 10m behind) and had a comfortable clearance. A disgusting effort to say the least. He was average yesterday, after a good few weeks but efforts such as the one highlighted sum Col up and is why he will never reach his potential and should never be in the leadership group.
  5. If you're into that.....
  6. Thought Davey was good in the first half, quieter in the second. Suspect he would have had a lot closer to 20 possessions than 10. Fitzy was good to very good, it was the move of him into the ruck in the last quarter that stemmed the early onslaught. Taggert I really like, think he will be pushing for selection in the next month if he can keep it up. Would happily give him a run against the Suns myself, but suspect he'll need to show a bit more to get a call up. Dawes, liked his game overall, a near certainty for the Suns, a game I would also play Toumpas in. Gillies, didn't think much of his first half, Sellar did some good things but needs to do more, likewise Davis - if only he was a better kick! Blease, really liked but am a fan of Sam, just needs to keep up his intensity and concentration for 4 quarters. Rodan had a good second half after having little impact. Clisby had a couple of horror kick outs but otherwise did well. Manger, who I'd have before Couch, did well, look forward till he can play seniors as we could do with him in and under helping out Chunky. Was good to see so many of the senior team there supporting their mates. Overall, a thoroughly enjoyable afternoon, pity about the result but the song was some consolation!
  7. Must use small words....
  8. Still have no idea I see...
  9. A bigger and more telling stat are where our 2nd and 3rd best for clearances rank
  10. FFS, we'll be playing the Suns, would have thought it would be one of the best 2 teams to give a young player his first game....
  11. If he is, he'd be pushing for senior selection, thought he was pretty good last week
  12. Where did I say he would be a better player in a good team? Do tell....
  13. Garland is a very good player who has, along with Chip and a few others, had to try hold up a defence that has been hammered week after week due to a midfield that has not been very competitive. Have always shaken my head in disbelief at the amount of trash he has copped here. In a good team, he would be a valuable asset (not to say I don't consider him valuable in our team!)
  14. Look forward to this game, hoping to get there tomorrow.
  15. Agree with a lot you say, earlier post was unfair on coaches, thought Neeld more involved than many other sessions I have seen. But I thought our skill were terrible, have been to training at least half a dozen times this year and to me, last Thursday was the worst by a long way. I normally leave training feeling like things are not as bad as most here seem to believe, last week I left feeling baffled as I had expected so much more but instead got what was IMO a very sloppy performance skill wise.
  16. It was terrible wasn't it. Went along expecting a good session after the last quarter against GWS and on phone leaving said to the old man on phone that we'd be belted if we played in Brissie the way we trained. Didn't write a report as I had absolutely nothing good to say. Haven't been able to get down there this week.
  17. I feel for us supporters that have to pay to watch us!
  18. Not sure how you can take anything that I have said as demanding in the smallest possible way!
  19. Have voted for Paul Roos, but I have a gut feeling that Nathan Bassett will be the next big thing in coaching and when he gets a chance, suspect many other team will regret not hiring him. We misjudged Nathan badly once, will we again??
  20. You are probably right, but more so, it looks like he isn't a big user of twitter, but I hope he gets a proper invite to join the volunteers. Start small David, it would be great if he came on a Monday or Tuesday evening, it could help get a few more members and it would really gee up the volunteers whose jobs are getting harder as the season goes on to have a club champion like David come and help out.
  21. Funny with Jones, it wasn't so long ago that people on the boards were ridiculing both his disposal and decision making. What a difference some more experience and maturity have made
  22. Well picked up, a few in the crowd on the fence were screaming at Fitzy to shepherd. Was a disappointing bit of play from a guy who otherwise had a good game
  23. Cheers for that, didn't realise you worked for the recruiting department.
  24. I think Jack Grimes has been very good this year. As for Trenners, i believe the captaincy may have weighed him down a bit, but not nearly as much as missing the bulk of the last two preseasons.
