Matt Jones and Dean Terlich

Terlich and Jones, kudos to the pair of them, fantastic first years in the AFL. That said, for Terlich to remain an integral part of our defence he needs to be more accountable to his man. Jones, to become important to our midfield has to improve his foot skills. -

Redleg, Prendergast is a genius. I know because Dr Who told me and we all know how much he knows about football -

The if you can't get Dustin Martin get Reece Conca Thread
Rod Grinter Riot Squad replied to What's topic in Melbourne Demons
News to me on Conca, would not be surprised if Martin stays with the Tiges they won't be able to afford to keep Conca -
Jones from Garland. Would prefer Judy wins it myself, but think Chunky will get the nod

Just a quick question to those that say Dunn would be a good player in a good team... Why haven't any of them ever tried to trade for him?

Melbourne football club.... For the true masochists -
I don't mind Lynden, have some respect for him, but there is a reason that a few years ago I stopped referring to him as "the outhouse" and started using Lynden Dumb instead.

The if you can't get Dustin Martin get Reece Conca Thread
Rod Grinter Riot Squad replied to What's topic in Melbourne Demons
He would be worth what we pay him and we would hardly be paying overs. The Tigers, I believe, can't pay him what he is worth, we can offer him a bit more than he is worth. Not exactly throwing the kitchen sink at him. -
WTF would we want a September specialist for?

The if you can't get Dustin Martin get Reece Conca Thread
Rod Grinter Riot Squad replied to What's topic in Melbourne Demons
Conca is ripe for the picking IMO, by paying overs for Martin, they can't afford Conca, we could comfortably offer him $200,000 more than Richmond can afford. A quality player who would walk into our top 7 -
There are not many players who we can say changed the way the game has been played. In my life, at the Demons, there was Jim Stynes, whose athleticism changed the way we saw rucks and changed the role as it was. Davey with his forward pressure led to many teams taking his example and expanding upon it. A worthy best and fairest who has helped to change the way his role (and all forwards) for the good of the game. Thanks for the memories Aaron and good luck with whatever the future holds.

Tigers would hate to see him leave, but if they sign Martin, would only be able to afford to offer Conca half of what he is worth if my understanding of situation is right
-
Am very confident he would sign, but Richmond are offering him a pittance compared to what he would be worth on the open market. Money is the issue here, not home, and he isn't being greedy!
-
Forget Martin, get in Conca's ear. Still unsigned, Tiges will have little in their kitty after Martin, would be happy if we made Reece an offer that would lure him from Punt rd
