  1. Should be moved from HB due to average disposal by foot. So would like to see him forward with spells in the middle.
  2. Hopeless forward but blossomed down back as noted above. Like most of the team, he must be forbidden to pass by foot more than 35m until he earns his boot-licence. This would only issued to Watts at moment. I can't think of anyone else.
  3. Not much of a future at MFC unless something changes. Maybe move to half-back but we are doomed, doomed. We've got a touch of the dooms.
  4. Should kick 43 goals 33 behinds over 18 matches next year. Looking good.
  5. B minus Like most of the team needs to handpass flat and hard over 15 metres.
  6. He had a good first five or six games in 2015. if fit, he COULD give us plenty of run off HB. But he probably won't. He just needs to pass the ball until he is free and then get it back for a gallop rather than be pulled down by the opposition. He can get over the falling over thing.
  7. Disregard the headlines "Dangerfield breaks record to seal Brownlow" 1976 Graham Moss - 48 votes 1977 Graham Teasdale - 59 votes 2016 Some guy - 35 votes Next week I will correcting the use of WHOM and WHO.
  8. Scottie Thompson had 12 tremendous years at Adelaide. Better that we had given him and would give a Hogan a year's absence at half-pay. BTW we got pick 12 which became 15 and then Dunn.
  9. No thanks. He played OK in a team that was getting a beating. However, he will be 34 next year and will basically be a distraction to our development. The football department should not to quickly recruit a mate of the coach. They are not social club as per Stynes, Connolly and Schwab. That worked well, didn't it. The view is often expressed that you need to let the senior coach pick their own assistants and players so that they are not impeded in their plans. But it seems to me that is mainly coverage of others back-sides for when it all goes pear-shaped. Better that it doesn't go pear-shaped. I don't think that he should be recruited for on-field leadership. We should insist that the many 30+ plus game players show that or back to Casey with them.
  10. In my first few years of working, I called anyone in a suit "sir". I didn't stand up to my boss until the fifth year. Imagine if he had been a legend of AFL like James Hird. Another concept from those days is having one's hand on it. If supporters, journos, ASADA and WADA think that a young man is going stand up to a legend of the game and club while his mates are lining up for their jabs, they are being self-indulgent. Nor would defence force rookies walk funny.
  11. The administration is responsible for this too. Brown-nosing the coach and Footy Dept didn't work too well for us either in 1982, 1983, 1996, 2001, 2003, 2010.
  12. Do not play the same team i.e. Port, year after year at Alice Springs. It is supposed to feel like home to us but daunting to the opposition.
  13. Dark Matter, huh? There's your problem! Your data on galactic gravity is million of years out-of-date. What the gravity is now is unknown.
  14. Basically the League has no intestinal fortitude and panics.
  15. Vickery as a rookie if he falls that far. They seem to develop players very well at Casey now. Or even better rookie a 18 y.o. beanpole. We got a couple of decent rucks off Box Hill. Daw has no idea about footy.
  16. One mor yeAr! One more year! One more year!
  17. Matty Jones pack your bag! Michie - still be vwery vwery afwaid to misquote E. Fudd Dawes has come back more mobile and gets his hands to the ball bringing it down, So keep him. According to my taller friend the trick was to tilt the hands forward rather than back: take note David Cordner and Darren Bennett if you are feeling psychic. We should suck it up and give Oscar his eighth game looking to the future. The heavy track supports keeping Vandenberg rather than Stretch.
  18. We need to reduce turnovers against the Swans or they will chop us up on the turnover on the boutique ground. Harmes is pretty reliable with the ball except for last week. Vandenberg or Hunt sprayed the ball and could be dropped or just as well kept. Vandenberg looked weary. No one put their hand up at Casey.
  19. We did pretty good for a team with five players with less than ten games.
  20. If Daniher hadn't kicked six we would have stolen it. Most unfair but worth four points to us.
  21. Not if he signs. Should play him at CHB to increase prospective trade value if he is giving that travelling vibe. He can show off his marking.
