  1. The wind blew Lewis' rug off. And I didn't like what was underneath. Scared to pick the ball up below his knees. Was a witches hat spare man in the first quarter. Then in the 3rd if he had have stood where he stood for the whole first quarter he would've stopped a Ben Brown goal. But no went to the square. That [censored] idiotic chip up the middle that ended up smashing Hogan may just about have put a fork in us. Of course it's not all Lewis' fault, but he's meant to be the supreme leader. Anyway, predictable loss, easy money. [censored] that ground too by the way.
  2. Lewis can [censored] right off.
  3. What is Lewis actually doing? Most ineffective spare man I've ever seen.
  4. I was confident. Then came here and read all the confidence. Now I'm not confident.
  5. This. It was easily our worst display with the zone defence. One of the most frustrating things I've watched this year and I doubt North have ever enjoyed scoring so many easy goals. And it was still close. This time they'll be relying a lot more on contested grabs. In those conditions, good luck. I'm still not confident, but my uncle and I have joked for so long that we'll never beat North again while we're alive, it's not really a joke anymore. Please just [censored] win.
  6. I knew you were Paul Roos.
  7. I loved the first episode. 2nd I didn't find all that great. Except when Theon looked as though he grew some balls (lol) for a second, but quickly turned into Reek. That was great. Big Euron Greyjoy fan. Without Joffrey and Ramsay, I need a new [censored] to barrack for.
  8. I'd like one minor change where a basketball ring is suspended at the top of the goalposts. If you get it in (via kicking, of course) it's one million points. Other than that, and maybe trampolines in the forward 50, leave the damn rules alone.
  9. Good work Demonland, I like it. Loads like a flash on my phone.
  10. Deeluded likes this.
  11. What are you talking about, you can practically see him signing a contract with the Dees. And in the background you can clearly see Nev Jetta ducking as Dixon collects him.
  12. Wasn't the term Barrett used "scattergun"?
  13. I liked it when it was announced. Jack is born to captain this club. I started to question it when I heard Jones was a bit shocked by it, then seeing Viney mic'd up against Richmond and no one seemingly listening to his (correct) instructions. But Goodwin obviously got it right. If there was ever anyone to follow it's Jack Viney. He's already proving to be inspirational.
  14. The Port win should've been a 123 point win. We should've been up by 80 at half time without the god awful umpiring. And continued the domination in the 2nd half if Gawn wasn't injured and on and off.
  15. Too disciplined is my theory. We don't have many "cheats" that leave the contest early running forward of the ball. Like Port, Bulldogs WC for example. That's usually what leads to big scores once a team is on top. You never see our core mids leave the contest early.
  16. Some [censored] put a saddle on Gawn and rode him for 8 seconds, most blatant in the back free on the ground free I've seen... play on. Also when Jetta was smashed from behind in the last quarter marking contest, no contact with the ball... play on. Simply baffling umpiring last week.
  17. Who'd win a 100m sprint between him and Frosty?
  18. Young key forwards are a mixed bag. And playing in the hardest position to make consistent impact doesn't help. Patton looked like a dinosaur at early stages, couldn't get near it. Now he's smashed a few games and looks set to be a player. Boyd looked promising, has done nothing. (Yeah yeah grand final blah blah.) McCartin was a number 1 pick. Hasn't got near it. For various reasons. Hogan is a freak and been a man since primary school. Still has flaws Daniher is an athletic freak. Still has flaws They're just a mixed bag. And they take time and development no matter how good or bad they are early days. The promising thing about Weed is he has shown glimpses of everything. Every facet of the game he has shown he can do it. Showed great decision making and link up play in his first game, neat skills. Showed defensive pressure and hardness against the Crows. Showed contested marking and long accurate goal kicking against Box Hill. He needs a tank, strength, and for it to mentally click. Those things take time for most tall kids. Cool your jets.
