So not only were they not getting a game, 2 of them were questionable trainers, one of them doesn't have a footy brain and the other is soft and mentally fragile. So what, you're happy having 3 spots on the list being taken up by these types? I'm not. Martin has been replaced by a footballer. Morton has put everyone out of their misery, except Bluey, that's a win all round. Gysberts, who knows, could go either way, but I'm tipping Neeld and Misson know the kid will never cut it. We expected to land a key forward. We accidentally landed 2. Our expectations were unrealistic.

We've lost a couple of slow old guys, a couple of softies and one seemingly soft of the mind. We've gained a couple of quick old guys, young KPF's = structure. + Viney and Barry. I give it an A. I don't care what we gave up to get what we want, we got what we needed. Scattergun? At least it's not Barry the sniper Prendagast picking off his own men. The list needed to be shaken up, the culture needs changing, the club and Neeld have started it, I believe it'll work.

I dunno, Fan, I think what Gysberts can do is get it and had it off well. Jordie McKenzie can do that, he just spends more time worrying about his man. Trengove does it well. Jack Viney is coming in. Rodan is coming in. Jones is inside. All of these players can do what Gys does but they have an extra trick or 2 or 3 to go with it. There's not going to be much time teaching him any other tricks if he has to run laps with the slow coaches every week. I'm happy to keep him and see what might come. But I'm even happier to use him for something we need.

There should be a rule on Demonland where one cannot post about David Rodan without using a dancing reference. Back on topic though, Rodan should be able to help deliver the ball to our tall Timber, Lake will have a hard time matching up on them.
