  1. On bigfooty:- #40 Melbourne (via GWS from Hawthorn) - Oscar McDonald (VIC KPD) Height: 196cm, Weight: 88kg, DOB: 18/03/1996 Recruited from: North Ballarat Range: 20-rookie Profile: Key defender, brother of Melbournes Tom.
  2. Take McCartin i say, its a lot easier to pinch a good midfielder through free agency or trade rather than a good Key forward, they are few n far between. So take Brayshaw and McCartin and lets go get a few gun mids in next years trade/free agency? Mitchel and Shiel thanks
  3. We need to stop being so bitter about the past. Just coz we have stuffed up the draft in the past doesnt me its not a viable option. This is a VERY different club to 5 years ago and I have a lot more faith in those at the helm. Lets just let these guys do what they think is best. I think we have the right people making the decisions this time.
  4. He is definitely in their best 22 when fit but has had very interrupted year with injury. Would be a great get. Zak Jones and Mitchel for pick 2?
  5. Think you need to let dust settle a little and re do this a bit more objectively, you have had a shocker here. Watts = years greatest dissapointment? You have to be kidding, he will probably finish top 10 in the B&F, yes for a #1 draft pick hes no star but hes had a reasonable season, Toumpas has been the biggest dissapointment for me. He couldnt even get a game, at least Watts contributed regularly. Very hard on Salem too, I think most would agree he showed quite a lot for a teenager in his first year coming off a limited pre season.
  6. he aint on our list according to what Josh Mahony said following his departure. Any if people think we would get a first rounder your dreaming! He was worth pick 12 3 years ago before missing 2 years with foot injuries, and depression. Be lucky to get a second rounder
  7. how much of training did tappy do ? did he look far off
  8. Actually read the reports from Misson and the match preview from stone. Pederson was scheduled to have the surgery at a week or so later but 'after not being selected in the team, we bought the surgery forward' . Pretty self explanatory
  9. Pederson was dropped for Gawn so even if fit I see Gawn holding his spot
  10. we need people who can dispose of it, sadly not many running around in the twos. In Gawn, Strauss, Salem, Jones, Michie Out Jamar, Blease, McKenzie, Riley, Bail
  11. McKenzie and Evans should be delisted despite having contacts. Some team might give up pick 184 for McKenzie which would be nice
  12. we had a real win with that deal! (assuming hogan is even half as good as he looks)
  13. very tough, neither have played at this level in a year (bar tappy last week) and I thought Blease looked like tappy last week, struggling to adjust to AFL after playing VFL. Tappy was much better than last week and played an important role. Contested well, was a target and helped out down back with some strong bullocking play. Should play out season and hopefully continues to get better
  14. thought he was solid in first half, tackled well and put on good pressure, was playing forward and not an easy spot to play when ur getting smashed. Second half he looked like he was well and truly out of gas. Needs to improve on this but liked his tackling.
  15. Get your facts right, his first 2 pre seasons were ruined by hip surgery, how are you suppose to do nothing but running when you cant run?
  16. Pedo is a great runner for his size. Jetta has said himself that he was told he needed to get fitter this past summer to cover ground better or his career was over. So clearly he has improved in this area which is why he is finally a regular in seniors
  17. Ability to cover the ground for a full game is definitely what is holding him back. Lets keep in mind he has yet to come close to completing a preseason.... thats really what he needs to build that tank up
  18. surely tappscot is next in line, no stand outs for casey and he was carry over emergency In Jetta, Tappy Out: Terlich, Salem/Barry
  19. surely tappscot is next in line, no stand outs for casey and he was carry over emergency In Jetta, Tappy Out: Terlich, Salem/Barry
  20. They should not be at an AFL club if they find that too much for them
  21. Please tell me your joking. These reviews are fantastic. Do you honestly think they are not getting told this things on a regular basis behind closed doors? This is nothing new. I think this is a great report that gives genuine insight into the progression of players at VFL level where most of us dont get to see them play. We all sit here saying why isnt X, Y or Z in the team bla bla bla well finally there is some transparency and supporters are informed what areas these players need to work on. And really... if the players cant handle the heat from this report, they really dont belong in an AFL environment.
  22. In Tappscot, Blease, JKH Out: Nicho, Terlich, Salem T Mac for Gawn when fit although though Gawns last 3 quarters were very good
