gysberts was the slowest at the time trial last year coming back to preseason. Not injured. Out of condition. How much does he want it? Loads of kids his age have passed him, & yes some don't make it. But i don't want to hear excuses. Head down & work or see ya later. He has struggled to get games with the worst list in the AFL.

Does the kid have the application & drive to want to succeed? If not he should never have nominated for the draft. I don't care what his injuries have been or are. They are part of the game every year.

No it's all relevant because the nature of the game is being changed to suit the broadcaster...Throwing the ball up around the ground on DRY days will speed the game up...Ruckmen will have to be fitter & be that much closer to the ball at all times, because they will lose that 5-10 seconds of set up each time.. An athletic player like Martin would be at an advantage in this style of game, (yes he has to improve) but i think he has now become a keeper for the up coming preseason at least. Jamar is not quick around the ground..He will not be a fan of KB's new rule at all. Ever since the interchange Bench evolved from 19th & 20th men, and then to 4 on the bench the game has drastically changed. Nobody stays in position anymore...I am not making anything up, just observing.

I didn't say the changes would automatically add more scoring, but it is certainly what they are hoping will happen...and it is the lobster in the slowly heating saucepan....There is change but slow enough not to be noticed too much..Ch 7 do want more ads...They need them.That is why they are also pushing hard for a night GF for 2013...

Throwing the ball up will speed up the game...Less players will be at the contest. It is the reason they are doing it.Potentially more time for commercial breaks i believe is part of the strategy sadly.. Ch 7 have got to pay the bills & the market is not what it was.

Denham wants the MFC to fail & fold, it is so obvious. It will be interesting to monitor next year. KB Flanders should boot him off the station, but he won't.

you may be right, but it's time to bring it all out. Denham has pushed it too far. If he was smart he would have backed it off during this year but he did the opposite.
