  1. Emma Quayle is the Chief Football Writer She writes about the game. Great read GO DEMONS.
  2. it was a joke that went wrong. I am sure no one in their wildests dreams thought someone would die. I would check what the UK Press wrote initially after the prank before doing anything else.
  3. Yes the rules were flawed and must be rewritten. I don't think eliminating the priority pick is enough but it will take time to sort this out.
  4. Hahaha! I think we are doing a little better. Relax (a little) peeps....
  5. Yes because it has become oxygenated.....I will do some more reading
  6. Really i thought it thinned the blood so oxygen could travel faster....i must do more research
  7. This^^ The entire reason i wanted the Tanking issue to be fully dealt with is so the AFL Laws of the game can rewrite the clause on this rule so it is bulletproof that tanking or match fixing is not an issue ever again as far as coaching & list management is concerned. The AFL is already compromised with the gambling industry but that is a seperate issue.
  8. High altitude is all about blood thinning. Training in heat will be about rehydration & recovery to go again. Both have merit. Which style will win. Neeld would be aware that he must have at least some success in 2013.
  9. yes and he mentions it weekly. Other people i speak to say we did really well. Denham is another who dislikes CS i think. He won't say it but it has to be along those lines...
  10. My God the humidity up there right now will be unbelievable. It is hard enough just walking to the fridge to get a cold one let alone train. REHYDRATE EVERY 2 minutes... I will be fascinated to listen to Dave Misson this year after this commando camp. He has obviously researched it. Hopefully this camp will teach the list to keep going in hard in the last quarter. When was the last time we over ran a side to win in the second half? Fremantle 2008? It has been a long time. The competition has treated us with disdain because we have deserved it. Fighting in the last quarter will resurrect this club....
  11. The only way to shut Denham up is to win games. He believes our recruiting this year is atrocious. Personally i think it is smart. We have to start slowly as far as free agency goes. If 2 of our new recruits are a success then we are in front. Next year we must do the same. Some free agency contracts will last 12 months, something Denham refuses to acknowledge. He wants all our recruits to be 5 year + players. Dawes should be but i doubt the rest will be. But the immediate benefits COULD be long lasting.
  12. The negative side seems to have gone quiet. All Presidents are meeting very soon to discuss more and better ways to generate revenue streams rather than just taxing the rich clubs. Good idea i believe.
  13. I wasn't talking about just me. The club had a worse than shocking year and we still came out Just in front. Jimmy died and we played VFL Standard footy. Crowds were fairly ordinary and we still made $70,000+- I expected to lose badly this year financially and it didn't happen so yes. We can all applaud & relax a little before gearing up for next year. I think everybody on here knows the climb is long. But we have stopped the freefall which 5 years ago we were in financially. If FH has done that, great. People power at work. We start winning we get bigger better sponsors.
  14. But we all know the club is close to the edge, you make it sound like people on this forum do not have a clue.
  15. Wow this looks amazing now. Cool it's all working. Mobile now has colour...
  16. What a genius & that list just scratches the surface. Blonde on Blonde...Blood on the Tracks Even infidels. Love Bob.
  17. I know that rjay but a whole season is a long time. It was there from round 1. I wish it wasn't. I want Jack to shine but i am worried at this stage.
  18. I want to brother. But his pace and kicking ability during 2012 worries me greatly. It wasn't an abberation it was there all year. Fingers crossed.
  19. Absolutely..if every country followed this template was as strict about it as they are with airports the drug culture would be 50% of its size in a matter of months.
  20. yeah, i also just retasted lunch for a sec....I keep seeing that Nirvana cover...
  21. i agree, but at least if it is made legal more people would attain it from a registered source. It's like the road toll iknow, the problem will always exist...keeping it illegal to me is like brushing it under the carpet hoping it will go away.
  22. That dam word $cully again....
  23. I have the same issue as above...everything else seems fine
  24. Sympathize with you Boss...i too have had my house ransacked by a Heroin User or freeloader as i refer to them. The only reason i wish these drugs to be legal is so that there is at least some form of monitoring... SOME people are going to use drugs whether they are legal or not. If they are illegal they are sold in back alleys and carparks...Legal they are sold over the counter with an i.d. card shown..
