I agree with you nut except for one point. i do not buy the "AFL do not want this investigation to be happening" Why...Because it has been going on for 6 months. But yes they do not want any other "Power" clubs involved...That would tarnish the Brand. If this club is to become strong again..WE are going to have to work bloody hard at it. The legal approach shown so far has given me some heart..i hope it is last man standing. Some on here have said certain people are expendable in preference to the Club.. Nice, but it depends on what charges are laid...anything flimsy is worth a fight..Otherwise who would want to work for the MFC in future. If Wilson had come up with solid damming information in her first articles my position on this would be a lot different...(i have always feared a Tanking enquiry from 2009 onwards) But she came out with personal fluff that was all smoke and fire but really nothing.. and very little since... The most interesting part in all this is that the MFC have remained completely silent...not one word. Yet.

Vlad also said a few years ago that this club stood for nothing. Now at the time i wasn't against him saying it because i think it is what fired up Jimmy to get on board. But if he still believes it we have a long and bloody fight on our hands.

As i said it is a sham Macca 2012-13 laws being applied to 2007-9 business practises that were ticked off at the time. and some around here just wish us all to be quiet and cop the good whack.

I am not crying nor should the MFC...I am angry. The MFC is expendable in the eyes of the AFL, others are not. The amount of times Benny goes to training is irrelevent btw.

You may want the club to fight like there is no tomorrow, but ultimately you will roll over when the price is to your liking. I would not count on you in the trenches when the heat ramps up. don't underestimate the leader Macca. If he had not wanted this investigation to continue Vlad would have pulled the plug.

wasting your time Macca, as i said before Vlad could have stopped all this with one phone call even after he landed back at HQ. But has not done that. He has allowed it to roll without a word.

Vlad could have stopped this via Telphone or email from London anytime he wanted. Or stopped it once he landed back in Melbourne. But nothing was done to stop it, at all. Anderson is gone but the interviews kept going. The MFC is expendable to the Hierachy Carlton & Caro's Tiges are Cash Registers to the AFL. Vlad may have PREFERRED not to have this investigation. But he has done nothing to stop it rolling. If the MFC does not fight this to the last man we wi be forever labelled The Example.

Spot On DC. The AFL does not leap into this as it has without wanting to do it. It is an absurd thought to think 6 months later the AFL really didn't want this. They get what they want. A weaker MFC and a Carlton & Richmond that are both heading to Septembers. "Ching Ching" Aparently i am a Dolt for thinking such thoughts. Makes perfect sense to me.

Totally agree BB59 The AFL at no stage HAD TO investigate the MFC...They chose to go in all guns blazing..allowing the media to go even harder.. Whilst at the CFC down the road......nothing. Even after people involved giving specific information.....Nothing. But i am so glad Ben Hur is happy with the present system...i will sleep better knowing that!
