Dwayne Idiot has nothing to do with anything? STOP FINDING EXCUSES & watch the season so far. We the MFC missed another piece of gold as we have so often over the last 6 years. We keep doing it. And the members are told to wait. Wait for what exactly. Jack Watt's break out game? I mean come on. The club i love keeps conning me and all of us. I want to sit in the MCC Stand in September...is that too much to ask when there are 8 spots?? We are light years away from that and you are telling me to chill. NO. Don & the board have had long enough.

Yes it is my opinion. I stand by that. But would we be in the same situation if we had picked Wines? I question that. I say no. Pure and simple. He is ready for senior footy. Toumpas isn't. The reality shows me that. When is this god for saken club going to see it. In the 2009 draft i said we should have picked Luke Ball. I stand by that too. We keep making decisions for the golden tomorrow & not for right now. Wines is a 10 year player, please tell me why he was overlooked???

Whatever the reason we the financial member and lifelong supporter has been duped shafted whatever you wish to call it. Thank Christ Peter Jackson starts this week. The MFC has been spinning out of control since Jimma was diagnosed.

Best mates who could work together. I can't harden up anymore. I have seen this club for decades. I have no hassle with Toumpas. BUT he is not ready. Wines was, as was JV. So i ask why? This club has had too many project players. We need some now players. To instill hope for a future. HTFU if you want. I have already become a rock.

after 6 years of high draft picks we have no midfield. Why? Who the hell is responsible? The members of this club are shafted on a yearly basis, and we still pay up. Ollie Wines was ready to go. Best mates with JV and we overlooked him Clueless decisions. Don't start me on dual captains please.

Losing to an undermanned Bears side is not great, it should be looked at in that light. The club has been managed very badly in the last 6 years. That is not Neeld's fault. But to expect a 4-5 goal loss i do not like. Considering they had 37 shots on goal. It's going to be another pox year.

well then the coach has got to wear it if it fails. Not taking Ollie Wines last year to work in tandem with Viney is looking pretty dam stupid. Toumpas may be great. He is not ready, But we need players now. We did not learn from the Gysberts/Cook fiasco. It's time for MN to sink or swim...I hope he swims strongly.

But would you have said the same about Port 5 weeks ago. They were widely tipped to finish 17-18th.It is Hinkley who has got them believing in their own ability again. Neeld MUST do the same. It is his fundamental job.

i agree. But what has Hinkley done to Port?He has inspired them to give their all? If the MFC take another thumping a la rounds 1-3 Mark Neeld is not our man. Today is the tipping point.

The MFC have been on the rebound since 2007, fat lot of good it has done us. Today we must be on the front foot. It is up to Neeld if he wants to continue as a senior coach. Todays game is very important.

When is the club accountable in your eyes?When do we stop this expecting to lose everytime we step away from the womb that is the MCG. 5 weeks ago most expected us to beat Port. Hinkley has got that list playing for him and for their team mates. Now i saw a glimpse of that with the MFC last week in the Final Q. It is Neeld's job to make sure that spirit, belief and fun continues this week. We can win with the right mind set today. If we get pumped Neeld's position is on shaky ground. It is up to him. I want him to succeed by the way, but there is the time for delivery.

This is why it is such an important day for Neeld. He needs to motivate this group to play hard AWAY from the MCG. I listened to Ken Hinkley's presser last night. MN should do the same.

i doubt it will go that far, but to lose our 1-2 picks from 2009 and cop a $500,000 fine for being not guilty would just top it all off i agree!! -

Very interesting Jigsaw article. The AFL knew more about the MFC in february than it let on. Vlad must be worried particularly after 4 corners got involved. They don't make up stories. -
