timD, Must agree, how we backed up against Brisbane was far more important than the last quarter blowout against GW$. I was happy for the players, but to back it up the way they did against an undermanned lions, to not tag Moloney ALL DAY. I am losing faith in Neeld really fast as i just don't think he is qualified to do the job. He wants to do it, but can he 18 months is long enough to get a good look.

Wrong...very wrong. I do not accept mediocraty from a proffessional football side over such a long period of time. And why should i? Shocking decisions have been made over years and years...2013 is no different AT ALL. We do not learn...The MFC wallows in self pity..Don's statements to the members over the last few months are testament to this. What Constructive system is now in place to stop this rot? The AFL Chosen CEO Peter Jackson.....We have no idea. The Yearly results are all there. If you perceive that as pessimism i cannot stop you..i actually want Flags, a pessimist would be revelling in our misery

Those 3 smashings were completely unacceptable, however you look at them....Normal speed or frame by frame...this is the 7th season of utter rubbish we have seen presented by the MFC The Rebuild of a Rebuild...a number one draft pick who froze in front of me more than once against Essendon. It is you who always speak of the stench from the Northern Stand, & now you are accepting of this pathetic and frightened team. Stop accepting the excuses, whatever pitch (Frame Rate) you prefer to watch a replay we the MFC are a disgrace to the AFL at present.

Is this written by Don Mclardy? We have gone backwards 28 points on scoring 2012-2013.. Yes i can understand supporters clawing at transparent positives but the reality is this club stinks. Neeld is a teacher, if he cannot transfer his message from the traing track to the Stadium it is a fail This is not his first year...he cannot be excused anymore, as was the case with Bailey.

I do not want to hear any more BS Press Conferences or Letters to the members that tell me how great the club is looking. Tell me the truth only. I wish to know the true status of my investments.

I don't read all the media either, most of what i read is sourced from here, including links to articles. I have watched all the games so far this year either live or from the AFL Website & i have NEVER seen a more uncompetitive side in 4 decades. There is no system & no trust. Jack Trengove is still as slow as last year. So i do wonder where you percieve any confidence at all, but you are entitled to your opinions. As far as i am concerned, anybody who has been hands on over the last 6-7 years should just leave now. We are the worst AFL Team by a long way. So i again wonder where your confidence comes from. Personally i am very Angry..

7 Years of inept recruiting & Development & you tell us all to be more patient, and not to be judgmental of the MFC What so we wait patiently for another 50 years? Having watched games since 1971 i am entitled to answers and on field action now... I have had a gut full of patience watching other clubs win Flags.

What VFL/AFL CEO hasn't everyone wanted sacked since Sir Kenneth Luke was around. The MFC was once the Powerhouse side, it is the club who stuffed up to get us to the point of almost irrelevance. Vlad aint perfect, but compared to Wayne Jackson he is a genius.

Neeld has been a disaster so far sadly, alll i am saying is that Knights was a better coach than he was given credit for The Golden Boy & Bomber have had a lot to work with. Neeld is killing our list.

Can he pop by the MCG by Sunday Lunch? I will organize a cab with pillows and lots of flat lemonade for the journey.....

Rohan Is a little deranged i feel. I would have nothing to do with a relocated club. In fact i would hope they lose. 1996 will not be forgotten. We have a 100,000 seat stadium that is our home. Make it work.

i am not disagreeing. But Matthew Knights wasn't a terrible coach. He just wasn't Essendon. Mark Neeld is a different story.

Mate. Ignorance is no excuse. If that is the case the Board chose very badly when it employed Bates. I get the feeling Bates ran his own shop. The only thing that will save us imo is the fact that Essendon called that press conference when it did. Another couples of weeks and we may well have been in the gun seriously.

James Hird inherited a very good list thanks to a lot of hard work by Matthew Knights. Even Essendrug scum who called for his head will admit it now. Hird & Bomber made the job of Knights untenible. & both of them are looking very suspect today.

If MFC players are found to have done the same as Essendrug players then we cop the same bans. After the "Tanking" strategy and absolute failure would our board be that naive?

did you bother to watch the 27 minute I/V with David?The Ox has never been "Flavour of the Month" He possesses the same passion for the MFC as Jimma & by christ that is what is needed right now. The club has gone cold.

The AFL have sanctioned Jackson make no mistake. With a $1.2 Billion Broadcast deal in progress HQ will want to know exactly what is going on at the MFC. Right or Wrong it is the reality. Personally i am all for it. The club is not being run properly for whatever reason. Beating GWS at the 'G will not fix the place. Heads are going to roll. Strap yourself in BD.
