    Yes i know we are lagging for many reasons. The NT situation only makes it worse in my view. And those who stiched this deal together have all run away with larger pockets.

    Brilliant to see that we have sold a home game in the tropics that is not even to be shown on TV. Any idea what the latest NT membership count is? I am sure it will be enormous, last year we were up to about 40.

    Yes, but i would prefer to beat real sides. The draft over the last 3 years has been so depressing!! Such a waste.

    That's the problem. The more they suck (GW$)the more the AFL will put into this soulless project. Making it that much harder for victorian clubs. The AFL never admit defeat, rather than admit they mucked up the bears they killed the lions as an example.

    I don't subscibe to the Australian (who does) can anyone PM me the entire article? I have always thought GW$ was no more than a money laundering excuse from day 1. Sure made our task harder though.

    It will come down to whom the AFL want as our senior coach. They will want their money back in a few years time & how this will happen is by getting the Demons winning more games than they lose. Thus supporters like me and sponsors get back on board and re open the wallet. A B Grade Coach or Whoever is left will not cut it. It is July. Many months will pass before a final decision is made. Roos is still in the mix, he just wants to get off the back page. IMO

    Roos is not going to give a definitive answer now for 2 reasons 1 The New Board has not been finalized 2 The Current interim coach is also a candidate... The coach's club are a pretty tight bunch, they all know how stressful it is. A decision will not be made till seasons end IMO No one has been ruled out yet...The Media just want the story....

    Colin is really at the crossroads if that is what he dishes up for his 150th when the whole club is on notice. Astounding that 2 years after 186 so little has changed on field. 70 inside 50's to 19 for the entire match What other proffessional organization dishes up such swill year after frigging year?? Davey and Col are what they are....they will not take us up the ladder.

    The MFC playing list deseves a PP but the MFC itself does not. The club made woeful decisions with the help we got. The MFC has to get sharper and more intelligent.

    Don't forget the othe 6 sides who ALL CLEARLY benefitted from Tanking within AFL laws. But back on topic. The players have to go down if we are to stamp out banned drugs.

    If the players get off this charge then drugs in sport is here to stay. The AFL should be advicating the maximum penalty if the do in fact possess "integrity" I do not want to support a competition who allows drug cheating. I am still waiting for Meth Coke to get hammered though!!
