I am judging him as a footballer. That is the point. He is a very average one so it seems. The Club judged him Number 2, made him a marked player way before draft day...celebrated losses because Trengove was coming. Well he is here now and yes he laid some tackles on Saturday night but he is still slow and can only kick 30-35 metres. Would i be as harsh if he was picked at 20-30 in the draft? No, because he wouldn't be at the club. The MFC targetted $cully & Trengove WAY BEFORE draft night & neither of them are going to be better than ok barring a miracle. Do i blame Jack...No i do not, he is who he is. But i have no problem giving the club a hard time about the high draft selection and making the kid captain. And still they wish me to donate $$$

Attitudes like yours allow the club to be crap every year. The answer on Trengove is simple. He is slow and can only kick a short distance. Hardly captain or a number 2 draft pick. But then we are Melbourne aern't we.

I really hope AFL fans en masse boycott anything Essendrug in the future if these buggers get off lightly. It is obvious that the AFL are now totally corrupted by the smell of $$$ rather than any integrity, even though Vlad uses that word so often!! Exactly. Supporters have been belted around the head by this club for so long so that there expectations are clouded by the ordinary.

His form last year was no different. Stop making excuses. Like i said supporters are to soft and easy on this list. I was waiting for the Trengove defence Essay. He hasn't played a decent game since putting Dangerfield into the turf.

would depend on who wants to trade. Trengove should be kicking 2-3 goals in the last Quarter to pull the team over tthe line. It's what Captains do. He is in his 4th season now so we should be getting a lot more.

Fair Call, but if you play "quite" well should you get votes?That's my point. This list is judged far too softly. It's a bloody shambles. As i have said before Trengove has not played well since the sling tackle & to be named Captain was just farcical. I am sure Neeld did it for one reason, to Pizz Beamer right off. Trengove is a good kid, but he is not a leader onfield. Not once have i seen him lift the side, probably because he struggles himself.

Sadly aware of that. Highly overpaid to...Makes it hard to improve when you don't have to.
