Just a quick word on Benny Holland. Alot of you continually bag this guy, but unlike a few current MFC listed players,who will remain nameless, this bloke always gives 110% for the club. Yes he may have his limitations, but his guts and determination cannot be questioned. Give me a bloke like him over a natural talented player who doesnt apply himself or works hard ANYDAY!!!

The Match committee, will be reluctant to make many changes after our first "win" forr the season. I see whelan coming in at the expense of Bell, who needs to find some form back at Sandy.

Its a difficult decision, this one, because I think it woud be based on how we are travelling at the time. For instance, if we had the opportunity or were playing finals footy, I would probably pick him. Every team needs a good mix on youth and experience and he still has the ability to have a purple patch and "turn it on" when required.

I hate the idea of tanking games for draft picks (the whole concept doesnt sit well with me at all) but its a reality these days and if we are going to go down that path, have poor form and are desparately trying to get game time into the kids, then I would probably think differently.

One things for sure, we will have plently of room in our salary cap! If we were to go down this path, what would we do with Newton?

As I have said before, we have made a huge error (players/coaching staff, whoever chooses???) here. To be honest, I think its a bit off a wake up call as it appears that our list and leadership group arent anywhere near were the level (skills) they thought they were.

He is one of only a few genuine "hard at it" players we have left. If we get rid of him we may as well be called the marshmellows.

He can adapt and we shoudl persist!!!

The guy is a natural forward. Can we please, please ,please keep him there???

Thinking back over the last few years ONLY ,I reckon we really miss the General, Mr Bizzel down in defence, Darren Jolly, Scotty Thompson and Peter Vardy crumbing up forward.

To be honest, I work in the advertising and communications industy and I think its a little lame and uninspiring, considering how crucial this time is for the club.

We all jump on this site and give our opinions, but today 23,000 people attended a game between two Victorian clubs, IMO 75% North Melbourne supporters so I would love to know which posters on this site attend todays game. Because if you didn't you let the club down just as much as the players.

Agree with you 100% Benny has the ability to play down back (proven) as well as across CHF (also proven). We know Miller is NOT A BACKMAN AND THE JURY IS STILL OUT AS FAR AS I'M CONCERNED WHETHER HE HAS THE ABILITY AND CONSISTENCY TO PLAY CHF.
