Whilst the odd massive loss has hurt you can clearly see what Dean Bailey is trying to do. Create a game plan that is based on hard running, toughness and skill. It's a pleasure to watch young players like Garland adapt to it but shocking to see the likes of Bruce and White attempt to do so. He is the right man for the job.

In 2007 I saw a an 8 yr old kid dressed up as Joffa. It was the most rediculous and discreditable thing I have ever seen in my life. He had a gold sequence jacket on and a silver mullet wig. I just don't understand how any parents (even collingwood supporters) could condone their kids looking up to Joffa. I mean who would aspire for their kids to end up like that creep?

Morton is a great kick. One of the only players I trust with the ball in his hands. He is a project player and the fact is he wouldn't be playing in too many other sides at this stage of our career. Unfortunately we don;t have that luxury.

In's: Chris Johnson, Matthew Whelan, Shane Valenti Outs: Daniel Bell, Brent Moloney(inj), Jared Rivers(inj) It won't happen but Cameron Bruce should be dropped at least demoted from his role in the midfield. His lack of effective disposal costs the team too much. I'd be happy to see him play a purely defensive role for the rest of the season, he's shown he can play it quite well. Bartram I thought played one of his better games today. Thought he was pretty good, gave a fair bit of run and his disposal was pretty good. Will Garland play on Richo?

Have you noticed that every time we give the ball to Bruce forward of center our surge stops. I don't know how many times today we had players provide great run off the half back line through a number of linking hadballs only for the ball to end up in Bruce's hands and absolutely shank the kick or handball to someone 1 metre away who is in worst of a position than he is. Cannot play to Bailey's gameplan.

Perhaps I was a little harsh in labelling him a hack but he's just been so dissapointing. Totally lacks a feel for the game aka his tackle on Tarkyn Lockyear when he jsut went in head first and let him kick the goal. Also just watching the news, how bout his kick in straight to Davis.

We'll get above 60,000. Think bout it the pies are flying they got something like 50,000 to their West Coast game last week. There will always be 15,000 of us and plus a further 10,000 of the fickle nature will jump on board seeing it's the QBday clash. Garry Lyon wrote an article earlier in the week about "list cloggers". Basically the general jist was older players who are preventing youngers one's from coming through. Bruce is nothing more than a list clogger. And forget trading him at the end of the year what club would take him? We could get a 4th round pick for him if we were lucky

Watch the boys train this morning and Jimmy was there. Was on his phone most of the time but when they walked in he stayed out and had a chat to Dean Bailey for about 10 minutes. Gave a handpass to Austin and that was about it.

Bruce won't warrant a first rounder, he'll be 29 years old no club will give their first pick up. Brad Green on the other hand might attract some interest. Jack Watts won't go 1 either, is stil a gun though.

Not regretting the choice at all. Cale has played two extraordinary games against Geelong and Adelaide. Any other year he would have had a rising star nomination by now but due to the abundance of young players gong round right now it just hasn't been his time. Trust me the kid will be a gem.

He certainly is extremely under rated. Showed how flexible he is by going into the midifeld on the weekend.

Is in his 4th year now and is he in our best 22? No. If there going to play him as a midfielder we have a lot better players to fullfill that role. I won't be writing him off just yet but you'd like to think he'd improve within the next 2 years.
