  1. Thanks Striker..that makes sense. So someone with 1 year left on their contract might get a stay of execution this year (Mr. Morton?!)
  2. Does Hogan count as a 'Senior List' position? Guess we're gonna have to start delisting some players soon...
  3. From Official AFL Twitter: Damian Barrett of http://t.co/t0cjMIbw's @traderadio says "Quinten Lynch has chosen Collingwood. Deal signed." More to come.
  4. Still playing under enormous emotional strain I would imagine: http://www.abc.net.au/news/2012-05-05/man-scalped-during-bloody-clashes/3993398
  5. Watts, Jones and Davey = Whipping Boys Central! Don't see the same threads for Green, Moloney or Blease Can't see how Davey is responsible for non existent defensive work at Clearances, but there isn't a thread about that. It is easy to individualise, but really, who are you planning on replacing him with, and would it/they make that much of a difference? He is still the best kick in out team by a distance. Don't forget he is a B+F winner, just in ordinary form (like most of the team!)
  6. yup, was just going to say; The season launch is tonight..seems like it would be a good time to announce a deal (if one has been done). Especially with only 2 and a bit weeks till the first bounce and the amount of publicity we are getting atm (good and bad)

  8. To lighten the mood here a bit... Perhaps this is the ultimate act of team mate sacfrifice by LJ to deflect attention away from one Mr. Watts?! If so..well played, but a nudey run would have surficed! Too soon?
  9. I don't think it is the point of this thread and probably a discussion for another day, but I don't think people (or at least I'm not) are saying that kony2012 shouldn't happen (although there have been concerns raised about the charity organising it). I think the point being made is that people are very quick and eager to commit to issues that do not have to be dealt with face to face, perhaps in order not to have to face up to the fact that they, themselves may have or still are contributing to the situation. Or at the very least turining somewhat of a blind eye. Anyway happy to discuss further on another thread - a good discussion to have.
  10. Oh and he has to abstain from alcohol! Seems he is alleged to have been drunk when he armed himself with a Machete and his mate an Axe http://www.afl.com.a...63/default.aspx
  11. I think it means the Victim's family but either way it will still be tough not being allowed out of Vic. Especially if things get ugly there again. and frrom a stupid Footy perspective - no interstate games
  12. Says on the ABC website that his bail conditions are that he MUST stay in Victoria and have no contact with the victim or his family.
  13. Seems the other person facing the charges is the same person also charged in relation to the the murder of the man stabbed in the leg a few years ago. Although originally charged with murder those charges were dropped and he pleaded guilty to the assualt of another indiviadual during the fight. Very messy, ongoing stuff. Can only hope that the situation calms down for all involved. Must be hell living with contastnt fear and conflict on all sides. Forget Kony2012 etc, why don't we start in outr own backyard?!
  14. According to the NT Court website. He is up at 10:00 NT time or 11am EDST (now) http://www.nt.gov.au/justice/mctlist/today/crim/ras.html

  22. The scary thing is some probably do already!
  23. New Balance Warehouse. Eveyone has their own tastes and opinions and I don't think everyone will ever be happy. That's what makes it such a popular thread to start....again! We can wear pink shirts with lime green skirts for all I care, if it means we actually win something, sometime.
  24. The White strip is very popular as far as number of sales go though! Quite like it myself.
