    Fullarton to provide the ruck chop-out so JVR can play solely as a forward. Four main targets up forward in JVR, Fritsch, Jefferson and Fullarton. With Koz and Chandler as the small forwards. Trac to spend more time in the middle. Windsor to the wing.

    HB: Salem, McDonald, Bowey

    C: Windsor, Petracca, Langdon

    HF: Fritsch, Jefferson, Langford

    F: Pickett, JVR, Chandler

    Does anybody have the inside word on who our sub will be?

    You would think it will be a debutant. Kind of hoping it’s Sharp as I hate the notion of somebody playing their very first game in the AFL as sub.

    Sharp could be an absolute weapon coming on when all others are tiring, cutting up the opposition with his speed. Would make sense to replace one of the talls in Johnson or Jeffo.

    Melksham highly unlikely to be match-fit by round 1.

    Laurie over Billings? Wouldn’t have thought so judging by what we’ve seen this pre-season.

    So unfortunate for McAdam but this opens the door for Jefferson now I reckon. Fairly sure that he was in the ‘A’ team for match sim either earlier this week or last week when McAdam was sitting out so sounds as though he is next in line.

    interesting that with mcvee being ruled out for the first part of the season that rivers has been repositioned as a back flanker for the internal trial game 

    mcdonald in the 'a team' as may is set to suit up for the indigenous game, i assume

    No Windsor today either so wonder whether Rivers goes back to the midfield once Caleb returns.

    It does seem as though Windsor will play off half-back this season per training reports.

    Who do we think plays on the opposite wing to Langdon though? I’m not convinced that Sharp is in our best 22 just yet. I can’t even squeeze Sparrow into our best 22.

    Bowey on one of the wings perhaps?
