  1. We have been poor and we have taken 10 points from a possible 16... Circumstances are telling me that there is plenty of improvement to be had, and that the players, while being poor, have not torpedoed their season, they have found a way to stay in games and found a way to, despite their poor form, draw, win, and win.
  2. lol What if he sticks around...lol Some of you are trying to get yourselves primed for when he goes, but what if he doesn't? A few are definitely in the 'he wasn't that good anyway' phase... It's a little pathetic.
  3. Yeah. With their senior players fit and healthy.
  4. The anti-oracle! The fundamental flaw! At it again... 2006 great. Frawley, Garland, and Petterd. Important defenders and valuable forward. 2007 good, could be great if Morton is as good as I think he will be. 2008 too early to tell but Strauss and Blease need to show something soon. Jurrah and Mckenzie were drafted here, no? 2009 too early but potential is for that draft to be defining for our future. 2010 ??
  5. Don't be so literal with 'replies' of posts. Read an earlier post of G and you will find out who I am talking about.
  6. Yes, I over-estimated the capacity of Green, Moloney, Davey, Jones, and Rivers to be decent leaders.
  7. Yes, but don't do it too much... He's a AA ruckman, he is B grade FP.
  8. You're scatter-gunning negativity of late... Er, North have gone to Perth twice and played Collingwood. I couldn't tell you how they are going.
  9. He needs to stop looking for frees - his body language is terrible. You've got to fake it, until you make it.
  10. Thank you! The anti-oracle has spoken! Scully will stay! So it is written, and ever shall be!
  11. All this does is highlight what little Dunn has achieved in his career. Hanging your hat on half a season of footy... He will probably keep his place but his output isn't where it needs to be and Petterd is breathing down his neck.
  12. You're than one laughing at your future CHF...
  13. I would also argue that calls to criticise Bailey and the FD for this up and down start is 'beyond meaningless' considering the AFL season is a marathon and that we expected (well the brighter ones) another up and down year from this (even) young(er than last year) team. I mean, we aren't playing great footy. We aren't a great footy team. Get over it.
  14. Scully and McKenzie might make a difference...
  15. He's getting fatter.
  16. We were them! Frack, it's good we have graduated to the 'playing ok, but fans aren't satisfied with 15 goal win' phase...
  17. I think Morton's slowly getting into it. The FD obviously rate him considering they rushed him in. Again, at Subi, Morton should get what he loves - space. Frack, we have a lot of front runners... Trengove, Scully, Mckenzie, and Gysberts balance that out but just not at the minute...
  18. I like Watts at Subi. More space for him to use his tank. Dunn is just a tease. Petterd is more reliable and a better competitor.
  19. I will put this here rather than starting a new thread - Todd Viney was interviewed on 3AW before the match and, while it was a nothing interview, they asked about the differences he has noticed since he has arrived at the Demons to the Hawks and Crows. He said flat out that the pure talent at the Dees was startling and the kicking skills better than at both of his previous clubs - he intimated that there was a noticeable lack of physicality compared to the Hawks and the Crows. I guess, at least they're aware of it...
  20. If we are talking about his output - as JCB said, he has a lot of improvement in him. If we are talking about leadership as a captain - we will see whether he has improvement in him... I don't like to make statements like that but I just don't see him as a captain at this point in time. Maybe the role he plays isn't conducive to being seen in that light but, like the other senior players, he has been disappointing in output, body language, and general on-field leadership.
  21. That won't happen.
  22. He can still play as a nominated rookie. This should be apart of the 'Random Facts That Are Constantly Posted Thread' that should be a sticky...
  23. Yeah, I know! It's been good for a laugh this reaction but nothing more. There was not much at all to take out of this game, other than we did what we should have done (which probably is something to take away, because we rarely do that...). It was just a professional job - nothing great, nothing ordinary.
  24. Nah, led to the pocket all day. Give yourself a chance, Brad.
