There was some dicscussion on this in the match thread, it's time to do this. We we will be at the half way point of the season? Brisbane at the G WCE in Perth Tigers at the G Bulldogs at the G Saints at the G Geelong in Mordor Hawthorn at the G Sydney in Sydney Carlton at the G Essendon at the G Collingwood at the G Who will we beat? And how many will delete their vote and change their prediction in the next few weeks?

Glad to hear he had an impact. Probably a good thing for Couch, Magner and Bate to have the weather they did for their new roles. Nothing better to settle the nerves of being a big bodied mid than a wet sherrin.

There was a Bailey thread early on in 08 and I happened to mention that while he had an impressive mind, he wasn't the hard taskmaster that I felt the club required. I get the feeling, not prognosticating in the slightest, that Neeld will demand more from all at the club and especially the players. It's about time.

He is a backup ruck that has to spend time forward, it's just the way it is. So it is up to him to become a forward that we can go through or a lamp post in the square but he will be a forward whether he is good at it or not.

Whatever we can offer, they can match. And that is all that matters with RFA. I will wager that not many top players will leave on RFA. Teams will just say to player managers 'we will match any offer, so don't ruin your blokes life by shopping him around.'

Or whether we would agree to trade our reigning B+F winner who was contracted? I'm not one to call into question the word of one of Brent family member's friend who happens to be a anonymous poster but I have my doubts.

Yes, that article gives the move some sense. It's been quite funny reading poster's contortions to make this into a logical move. He's a knowledgeable temp while we are luring who we want. It's still not ideal to have him move sideways and down, however.

Actually the EW bloke said our 'oh-so-connected' board was the driving reason he wanted to sponsor the club. It's an interesting argument to have and there is fodder for both sides. On one hand we already have more sponsor money than we did last season, on the other hand we are nearly into March and we have a naked left breast...
