  1. I agree we have far the stronger team but we must be doing something ok to kick 4 gls in 12 minutes.
  2. He was playing on Cheney and some other c grade defender. Good luck kicking 6 against Hawthorn in round 1.
  3. Blease has played his best game since about 2012.
  4. Very hard to watch and stomach. Did he want out or did we tip him out? Even Blease has played his best game since 2012.
  5. Dogs missing McRae, Murphy, Dahlhaus, libba, Stevens, Crameri, Wood, Hunter and Roughead. Should win and win well.
  6. I reckon Pedersen's 2014 is greatly overrated around here. He played his best footy when we played our best footy and was useless once our form went off the cliff. He continued his poor ending of 2014 into last weeks Nab Challenge game. I hope Fitzpatrick can show something more over the next 2 weeks.
  7. Now that we have 2 clash jumpers, I reckon we should cease wearing the traditional strip in all away games except against Sydney who have too much red and white in their jumper: Red: Carlton Collingwood Geelong North Melbourne Fremantle Port Adelaide West Coast Richmond White: Adelaide Brisbane Essendon Hawthorn GWS GC St Kilda Bulldogs
  8. Are you taking the urine?Gold Coast will be hanging around the top 4 for most of the year and are that far ahead of us. Meanwhile we 'll be battling with St Kilda and Dogs as the worst team in the league. They should beat us and quite comfortably. We should give GWS a run for their money though.
  9. Anyone see a bit of Stewie Dew in this guy?
  10. Yes but the difference is GC would have to be missing about 8 of their best 22 for us to go in favourites. At this stage, they only have Dixon and Probably Lynch out which is no where near enough for us to be confident of a win. They will likely have all their midfield in. On the other hand St Kilda basically gifted us a win with their massive amounts of outs last year. It was a very disappointing loss by us.
  11. Any danger in Howe joining in full training any time soon? Didn't he do his hammy on Jan 21?
  12. I expect Gold Coast to take this to the tribunal and risk Lynch getting 2 weeks. They play St Kilda in an extremely winnable game at home in round 2 so will probably wear the risk.
  13. Yeah get rid of Nathan Jones. He was part of the tanking era...we'd be better off without him
  14. I would wear the white against the dogs. There's too much red and blue in the dogs jumper which I think causes a minor clash.
  15. I reckon we should show off our red jumper in prime time footy - Friday night v's Richmond, Anzac Day eve.
  16. I'll reckon we'll wear the red jumper against Carlton.
  17. Given that we haven't won at least 5 games in a season since 2011, I think it's a bit rich and unrealistic to suddenly expect 10 or 11 wins to be the bare minimum. 6-7 wins is a realistic pass mark.
  18. I think you're going to be very disappointed if you think 10 wins is bare minimum.
  19. As someone else mentioned here, the thing that concerns me about Newton is Kane Mitchell who is one of the worst players I've ever seen was getting a game ahead of him late in the year.
  20. Carlton would've gone close to winning that game if they had Gibbs, Judd, Murphy, Thomas, Jamison and Henderson playing. West coast were at far more strength than Carlton. So I wouldn't be bagging Carlton on tonights game.
  21. He'll be better when Gibson, Lake, Birchall and Burgoyne all return. They''ll be able to carry him back there.
  22. 6 wins. And most of them against the bottom teams like St Kilda, Dogs, GWS, Brisbane and Carlton. Last year we failed to beat anybody in the bottom 5.
  23. TDI, is Howe further advanced than Vince in his hamstring recovery? It's looking like 9 weeks on the sidelines for Howe which is incredibly long for a hamstring injury I would've thought.
  24. So Howe did his hammy on Jan 21 and is still 3-4 weeks away.I count that as a 9 week hammy. Must have been on the very serious end. I guess there's a chance he might be back for the Essendon game on mar 22. I have a feeling Vince won't be playing in round 1.
  25. Scully's a living Melbourne legend compared to that disloyal f log in Clark.
