Hi guys,
Saw an article today saying that Tom Phillips hopes to be picked up by another club. Is he worth a look? When we had interest in Isaac Smith I know people also suggested Phillips as a decent wingman choice.

I just can't see Gus leaving. I listened to the Dyl & Friends podcast the other day and Angus was explaining that Danielle and her Mum and her sisters have been focusing a lot of their time and efforts into the Danny Frawley centre. Gus has most of his family here and same with Danielle so for Gus to move to WA just to be with his brothers doesn't make much sense to me.

Who would have thunk it.
Here we are worried about a young star going home interstate and guess what, he brings home to melbourne instead.
To see Lukes mum absolutely ecstatic and dressed in complete red and blue says volumes.
Just between you and me I think Luke may have told his mum what a great place the MFC is at the moment.
How the heck did we do that?
It's called winning a flag :)

I'll pay for the removalists van for Mr and Mrs Jacksn myself if needs be.
Hell, I'll even push the trolley gladly.
I'll literally open the front door, buy a red carpet and roll it out to welcome them.

My best mate plays hockey with a guy who is close friends with Tracc and he said that Tracc had gone through some major confidence issues and was suffering from anxiety. The bubble that the players were in this year helped Christian be like 'you know what (censored) it, i'm going to get through this' and he was able to focus on himself and now he's in a really good place. Now that he's in a great place, hopefully every week he can deliver us a grand final type performance 😜

Is he what we need though?
Wouldn't we rather see Jordon/Sparrow get more time than Dunstan.
Yes he had a nice little patch in the middle of the year, but he's also not the best kick, work rate is average and doesn't have anything that really stands out.
I like him as a player, just worried he will take minutes from Jordon and Sparrow who are developing extremely well.@WA Demon Boy I think he would be 'in case of emergency break glass' for us so we have midfield depth. Clayton, Tracc and Viney may have little niggles throughout next year so Dunstan could be good for our second midfield unit.

They should call it ' To Hell And Back, For Real This Time'

We know what Lingers can do on the wing and we saw Brayshaw play one of his best games in a GF on the wing.
I have changed my opinion in that we don’t need Cerra. Our midfield brigade is young and hungry and should keep us in good stead for the next 5-6 years without having to change much.
Focus needs to be on developing the younger players. No doubt that there will be players on the fringe that will leave for more game time.
I feel like having Sparrow and Jordon in the midfield is great for our future, plus if rivers gets a bigger tank he could play midfield as well

Also now is the time to put big long contracts in front of Oliver and Jackson.
When I say now I mean right now. They’re very drunk. It’s a good way to get them to agree to terms.best comment I've ever read on Demonland! You're not wrong though, people can make great decisions when they're drunk so get them to sign now whilst they are on a bender and when they sober up they'll probably be like ' Wait I signed on for 5 years last night? That's (censored) sick'

If we win the granny next weekend, MFC should create another video and call it ' To Hell and back- For Real This Time'

Hmm, what do Demonlanders' think he'd net us, late 3rd round or 4th round pick?
I'd say early 3rd, he has a great footy IQ and has shown he can provide a great delivery to our forwards with his kicking.

@bingers I think bowey would be a better match up for weightman the little *censored* he can go with him and can match the pace, I am just worried about Weightman's aerial ability, I am pretty sure May said in an interview earlier this year that he finds weightman was the hardest player for him to match up on.

I'd buy two slabs of David Neitz's beer and rewatch the GF replay and get absolutely rooted.

Hey guys, just saw this article on AFL.com.au, what would we need to secure the services of Brayden Ham?

I think Maynard is someone we should definitely bring into the club as well as Quinton Narkle. Burgess could get Narks body right and when fit he is a good in and out player.

One good full preseason under Burgo and BBB will bounce back like TMac has. We have a bad habit of writing our players off far too soon.
Surely Burgess will be going to Adelaide at the end of the year though right?

Should we look at Quinton Narkle? He would probably come on the cheap and I reckon he could play Melks role and also go in the midfield.

I've got a sneaky feeling Weid will explode this Monday in his audition for his new side.
If Goody's feeling all matey this week:
IN - Langdon
Out - Sparrow
If Goody has any integrity of selection:
In - Langdon
Out - Melksham
I swear Milkshake has photos of Goodwin, he never gets dropped. Hopefully he makes the right choice this week and drops him. Goody said a few weeks ago in a team meeting that the boys on our list who are playing in the vfl can always continue to learn and press for their spot, yet there are half a dozen blokes playing better than Melk yet can't get a game...

I honestly believe Weids will work it out soon! He had an off night on Friday night and he has missed a few marks in the last couple of weeks, but I remember hearing Tmac talk about himself a few weeks ago saying that each game he felt that he was getting more comfortable with clunking big marks at the top level.
With more games that Weids has he will settle, I'm sticking fat with him. He's an important part of our future.

Looking at Daniel 's highlights There's no doubt he looks like Jeremy McGovern clone,
His delightfully casual but so cool and composed marking plus peeling off with an elite disposal without any delay have got Gov written all over him.
I loved Harrison Perry's highlights from Draft Day 1 and have had to be patient up to now for Harry to get his chance. He has improved with every game so far and looks every bit as good as I hoped Have earmarked Petty as a KPD since then.
Daniel Turner looks like another quick learner and even the slightly overweight bit is Jeremy Gov to a tee. Looks a natural and if I was Marty Hore my chsnce is well under threat.
Also he is 194cm now taller than listed apparently. Plays and marks tall looking at the highlights.Welcome to our new Defender to join our elite group already developing .
Will also allow Declase to play mid /wing maybe or up forward as a pinch hitter.
Lot to like about these 2 selections and JT May have nailed another 2 gems from his kitbag.
Won't die wondering I dont think.
The big men always take longer to develop, Gawny is the best example and look at him now!

I think he would be a good fit for us. Chocco is great at developing players and the attitude of our boys is incredibly professional, whereas a lot of the bulldogs players seem to be about that party lifestyle.
If he would only cost us a late 3rd or late 4th round pick then why the heck not.
