Steven Icke and Anthony Ingerson were two that immediately came to mind in defence.
I'd have May and Lever as the best but these two are right up there along with Michael Hibberd and Brett Lovett.
In my humble opinion we got good value from Garry Baker, Brent Moloney, Bernie Vince, Alan Jarrott, Darren Bennett, Stephen Powell, Daniel Cross. No doubt there are plenty of others not yet mentioned.

This is looking like a choke of epic proportions. Smashed at the contest and in contested marks. Poor decision making when we do get open. Brisbane must be laughing. Had to win the last game of the season to snatch a double chance and now look like hosting another Grand Final.
I think that might be 5 quarters in a row now that we've been goalless.
Brisbane finished 4th so the only way they get to host the GF is if Sydney or Geelong get through. That is extremely unlikely.

You would take Naughton in a heart beat
I wouldn't. I'd much prefer a midfielder who can hit a target over a key forward.

Anyone else remember Kelvin Templeton.?
Wouldn't cost much but he turns 67 next week. If we're going for someone older I'd prefer Lynch.

Cortnee Vine's goal. A genuinely unforgettable MCG moment for me.

This is where I slept last night. The bottom “bunk” is mine.
I was in a six-capsule dorm on the third floor. The first and second floors are bars/nightclubs. Didn’t realise this until about 6am when my five dorm-mates came “home” to crash. Five very hip Asian raver-boys. It was like a K-pop band and I was their manager. 😂
I slept like a log in my coffin/space capsule. Got up fresh as a daisy, three coffees (despite the [censored]-iness of Sydney coffee), and one 600ml can of Monster and I’m ready to watch the mighty Dees monster the Swans (see what I did there)!
…or lose to them which wouldn’t be the end of the world coz Collingwood at the ‘G = soiya later Pies!

Cameron ,Dusty and Toby only need three kicks to turn or complete a game.
I think you're grossly over estimating the influence Nankervis has on games!

I reckon the Cats have been able to get the best Irish recruits due to 1) having Zac Toohey and 2) being the quietest city with an AFL team (most like home).
Ever been in Adelaide after 8pm?

Go Cats. Go Dockers.
I feel so dirty, good thing I have no pride.
Won't be surprised if the Saints knock off the media anointed Premiers elect.

Nope - I’d say a 3rd rounder. Barely gets a game.
It's Peter Bell we're dealing with. He'll want two 1st round picks...and Trac.

What Layzie said. It's the inclusion of JVR that throws me.

The three best and worst things associated with football? My ten cents worth:
The Good
1. Supporters of both teams mingle before and after games. In nearly six decades I reckon I could count on one hand the number of violent incidents I've seen. I love that there is no segregation and overseas visitors are stunned by that. It is something we as a code should be really proud of.
2. The immediate minutes after a Dees win at the MCG.
3. The pre match on Anzac Eve.
The Bad
1. Gambling ads when watching games on TV.
2. Fan activation. See @titan_uranus above. Linked to that is the inability to tell us when a substitution has been activated. Can't do that but have got time to promote SEN talking heads telling us what we've just seen.
3. The gradual decline of secondary competitions.

In what order did Steven Tingay wear 52, 2 and 15 and Sean Charles wear 44, 1, 18? These orders as recorded in my copy of 'Melbourne F.C. Since 1858 - An Illustrated History' (2008), suggest they join Nev and ol' Grimey?...
Very good. Add Peter Moore as well who went from 10 to 30.

Lampers has indeed killed the quiz and is thus disqualified.
Demonstone is the winner.
Lampers also managed to kill part B which was going to ask which two went from a low number to a high number.
Mods, I expect a heavy suspension (unless it turns out Lampers' last name is Cotchin in which case a mild rebuke is fine).
