I say it in the context that Morton has physical attributes, mainly in the height department that on a level playing field makes Morton a much more valuable player to a side than Cotchin - more versatile, can play all over the ground. He also has a big engine, pity it only seems to puff slowly along the railway tracks most of the time... There's no doubting at this stage that Cotchin is head and shoulders above Morton playing ability wise, hence the reason I said "if" Morton can get his mind and body to where it needs to be, he could be as valuable as an Adam Goodes to Sydney or Brenden Goddard to St Kilda.....VERY wishful thinking I know...

Morton's got the potential to be a better player than Cotchin, whether he uses his "tools", puts on some size and has the determination to do so is yet to be seen however..

I do believe Scott Clayton has gone on record stating that he rated Morton the best of the draft in 2007.

Not sure why he would want to stay anyway to be honest... Why would you with the culture we produce? I love the MFC but it's the most painful relationship I've ever been involved in..

Can't for the life of me see why Tom Scully would want to stay right now. We are officially a basketcase.. Really feel for Jimma and all his hard work...sadly there's a hell of a lot more work ahead, we haven't even scratched the surface..

For christs sake get a grip man. It was a light hearted throw away line to indicate that I'm sure we didn't get a lot of membership enquiries off the back of Thursday nights performance.

It's fair to say the membership department had absolutely nothing to do in relation to memberships last Friday, hence the reply from them..

They played in Perth, I suspect they didn't travel back until today...it's a five hour flight. A response from the club I dare say will come tomorrow. I also suspect after that performance it's damage control central as far as media conferences go...

My original post was in no way critical of anyone Rhino. It was my drawn conclusion (as you've stated) as to what I believed was the reason Watts was made the sub for the gold coast game. You are correct there was nothing factual about it, simply my thoughts on the matter. There was not one ounce of criticism directed at anyone in that post. My "cheap shot" at Watts (in another post) probably was unnecessary, so I apologise, but I stated it as a fear I have for the future and not something I meant as a personal attack on Watts, despite my choice of words. I know he's young and has a lot of development ahead of him, in saying that I wish good things for him going forward and sincerely hope as much as anyone that he becomes a star for the MFC.

Rhino forums like this wouldn't exist without speculation, I stated an opinion, it wasn't uneducated, yet it was just an opinion. I wasn't expecting to be belittled by a moderator for it though..
