You can't drop Melksham after that game. You can't NOT bring in Fritta after his last game either.|

Sadly, Laurie will probably go if Fritta is fit.

Not sure what's happening with Rivers.

Riv is reading a west coast contract Cant concentrate on footy

All federal spending is currency creation. All that spending occurs via the RBA crediting exchange settlement accounts, which create deposits in the private banking system.

The state government is different, however, it is a currency user, it doesn't create new liabilities when it spends, but does have access to cheaper debt, and can afford $20 million dollars.

As former RBA Governor Bernie Fraser once said, "governments have responsibilities that go beyond".

But bang on about debt hysteria as if it's like a business or household.

So in April 2006 we had zero federal debt

on the 20th anniversary federal debt has ballooned to 1 trillion dollars

That is $1000 Billion for the people who dont figure

    Sure no problems at all

Max Heath needs to be considered. Jackson's athleticism is outstanding and his endurance is almost as good as Gawn's. Add Darcy to that and we have a midfield first use problem.

Between Lever, Petty and co our defenders can match their forwards, but Josh Treacy is a problem. I can't see one of our defender able to match him.

For us, I reckon Latrelle and Cully might give Freo problems.

Both he and Jeffo going down on the cusp of the season is terrible luck both personally and from a club playing level. Our forward stocks are dwindling!

    Whats wrong with Jeffo?

Who would you leave out for him? I agree he should play but can’t bring myself to drop someone, haha

    FB: Howes Turner Petty

    HB: Jiath Lever Salem

    C: Langdon Langford X. Lindsey

    HF: Fritsch JVR Chandler

I'm no engineer, but I can't for the life of me see why construction of a tunnel would mean no racing for a year no matter how it was done.

But if true, how about an overpass - extra exercise for the players going up and down.

Prefab cut and cover 6 weeks max

6 yrs if Cfmeu are involved

Not pointing this at you WWW, but that’s rubbish. The club can provide an update without going into specifics or commercially confidential information.

The point being There is no update!!

Withering on the vine in my view. Again there is now way the government is going to fund this in this political environment

I haven't seen any set plays after a point as yet.

In the sims out of the backline, it is the usual pass it round and spread, till an opening is there. Most of the time the balls goes close to the boundary and 50 arc, from there they seem to be looking to bring it into a central corridor.

Yes Kev that was my impression also, safe exit aggressive play into the corridor using speed

Langford did a lot of the contested work near the boundary and licked inside or handballed to a runner who went corridor

Any info re: Miochek. Have we drafted an injury prone lemon? People suggested on the Monday thread that he had been doing heaps of training pre Xmas. However, I was at sessions before the break and he was restricted then to cross training. What is the issue?

    Dislocated toe youch!!!!!

At Casey it’s always closed sessions. That may change this year with the new coaches and admin, etc. but I doubt it very much. The only time there’s an open session at Casey is when it’s an organised Family Day.

    Thanks' GW

Looks like a miss to m me 3 kids disappointed, may be next year hopefully,I don't see them in Swans outfits

  11. One of the real benefits of giving Goodwin the flick in my view will be that we start 2026 with fresh eyes and some players will finally be developed and trained correctly and I'm expecting a cross the board improvement in the list.

Its such a shame we wasted 2 years

You are as usual wrong . The community usage aspect of the base is always keeping it within the model for Govt funding. . Probably Fed State and local.

Most d/Lers are forgetting or ignoring that it would not be being built if not for the community aspect .

Roll on Caulfield keep your momentum and shut up the naysayers.

And s we hike I am gloating we will make the 10 and play on the wildcard round at a minimum in 2026. Two of our forwards will kick between 40 and 50 goals. Fritta and may be Kossie. And Roo nearly 40 goals. Langford and Lindsay plus Steele will be great mids, Windsor a revelation from the centre plus both our half backs will attack and ensure connectivity with our forwards.

Onley and Matthew’s will be good and Taylor will build a good season progressively.

Of the older brigade Gawny Disco AMW plus CJ will be stars. And we will beat the Pies at long last this KB.

Not sure about our odds but get on for a sneaky collect in 2026.

    Go Dees

You are of course deluded as usual

Different project, but the same players....

This is closer to the reality - there is no way we can raise $100 million from members for the enitire project. More like Club/AFL $25 mil and the MFC members $25 mil. Government will be involved. For example, if it is the CRRT that will be resposnioble for completing the two ovals proposed, then government money would go straight to another government statutory entity (CRRT), and not to the MFC. At the end of the day those ovals will be community assets and the MFC will get the 15-20 hours agreed we need as part of our lease agreement with them.

we have no chance of government funding of this projet in my view. Political Optics would be terrible
