  1. We are due for a statement game. We have had patches of great footy in the past month, but nothing from start to finish that was without compromise.. .a game that will send a shiver down the spines of everyone else in the comp. it has to be a convincing win in both the way we play and the scoreboard. the opponent is irrelevant.
  2. Sicily was the first player that came to mind. Put him in place for May and throw May to FF!
  3. Presumably the 2nd oval will be in the dimensions of GMHBA given how often we are fixtured there.
  4. i usually dont, but upon hearing that launched into a diatribe via SEN SMS citing 3 consecutive top 4 and possibly top 2 finishes. But im not sure what the criteria is for this anyway - is it most improved? most wins? most consistent? You could just about make the list then come up with a number of justifiable stats to back it up. How Voss gets on that list after losing 7 or 8 on the trot is laughable. He was just about sacked mid-year.
  5. As opposed to come to us with the lure of multiple premiership medallions and playing alongside some of the best in the comp? I know what i'd chose. :)
  6. Serious? He is not even competing.. Just a walking witches hat. They are silly rushing him back for the Cats game as they know how important it is to have form. A hard draw does silly things to teams. He should be rested at least a week otherwise he is a liability to the team and himself. Im not invested either way, but that footage is not conclusive to me in anyway. I mean Clarry was running a day after his hammy too and now 10 weeks later...we are still waiting.
  7. I think we can dilute the market by putting Tommo out there. On face value i think he has been performing better than McKay, but probably loses out on age and name. Wouldnt it be great if McKay just recommitted to the club!
  8. 2025 I reckon at the earliest. Petty and JVR is our 1-2 punch for 2024.
  9. That’s why it was worrying. if we take him at his word, I’ll say it’s more likely than not that he won’t be. There were not too many other ways to interpret the message.
  10. They have more key outs than we do - no excuses.
  11. Not sure if anyone caught Clayton Oliver’s interview on Fox News this evening. Doesn’t instil a lot of confidence that he’ll be back next week let alone this week. Unless he is taking the [censored]. “He hasn’t finished a training session yet”
  12. So we will potentially have three first rounders this year. What could we do with #17?
  13. Nobody I suspect, hence why they are probably going to have to part with one of their first round picks or potentially breach the cap? Who knows.
  14. FMD. Hopefully he’ll be right for pre season
  15. I’d watch it for sure! First Crack is almost what you want but it’s not as in-depth - Hoyne would be great, his work on SEN Tuesdays is great to listen to. Nowadays I think the best approach is probably a podcast but boosted on steroids with access to footage and champion data, which ain’t cheap. Ultimately you’d need one of AFL, Ch7, Ch9 or FOX to bankroll it and given they have zero creativity I don’t see it happening.
  16. FMD what a joke the AFL is. Any person who has had any involvement at club land should be immediately conflicted out for at least 10 years following any official club roles. The AFL commissioners blatant [censored] for the Cats.
  17. Their own. Nick Hayes reportedly on 1-1.2M in 2024 in his last year of his contract.
  18. What’s a bet we have the highest away team attendances at Manuka too.
  19. Fox Footy shows reporting Petty done for season.
  20. Is Cerra, Walsh and Cripps expected to return this week? Cannot believe they won without their core midfield group. Reflects poorly on the Saints big time.
