  1. Why would anyone be against this? I want him to perform on the field. He’s had a long recovery from his injury and is now at a stage where he can prepare for the preseason to then be ready for round 1 next year.
I don’t want him missing a couple of days of intense training to be prepared for next season in spite of attending a bnf.

People are asking when he went last year. It’s irrelevant. He played every game and this time last year we just played our last game. He was never going to the camp that quickly after the season had finished last year, so don’t even bother asking when was the camp last year because it’s completely irrelevant.

  2. Far out, some of you are pathetic. He doesn’t speak, you go after him, he does speak, oh that’s not good enough. Things needed to change and hopefully things are in motion.
I’m glad he’s rattled a few cages. A lot of the stuff in the media could be full of [censored]. I mean how many times are they wrong. Here’s a prime example

  3. I watched bits and pieces of the Brisbane game last night and saw on multiple occasions where 2 players chasing the ball, very similar to the Kozzie incident, and in each contest there was a bump as they were contesting the ball. Only difference was neither of those players chose to slide to the ball.

    I bet they won’t get a 3 week suspension.

  4. Am I the only one that’s not concerned about him leaving? I don’t understand the panic stations on here.
How many times does the club need to categorically say that he’s not going anywhere?

I don’t think Tracc wants to leave at all, he has given the Club a Rocket to get its act together

This has all been festering (multiple issues) for a long time.
The Decks have got to be cleared, we need a change of some philosophies within The Football Department

I maybe in the minority, but i am quietly happy it has come out. I hope the Review is thorough and fair. We have got to get better

100% agree and I’m glad it’s come out. By all means, I’m not happy it’s got to this point, but obviously there is some disagreements and discussions been going on behind closed doors and nothing has come of it.

I think it’s a way to get the clubs attention to get its [censored] together. He may be frustrated but the part of him wanting to be traded could be just some mayo added by the media to create a few more clicks.

How many time in his career has he "bang(ed) 2-3 goals in one quarter"?

Off the top of my head, the dogs, Brissy at the gabba, west coast this year. Won us the Anzac Eve game last year, dominated Sydney early last year as well. So yeah, he’s capable

Yeah, how crazy to sub a kid who was clearly gassed, and had

    - a player rating bested only by hore and the sub

    - 25 supercoach points

    - 8 disposals at 25% efficiency (meaning only 2 of his disposals were effective)

    - only three marks on a perfect night for footy

    - no hit outs

    - one score involvement

    - only 5 pressure acts

    - zero tackles on a night where we had 18 tackles inside our 50 (probably our season high)

    - and as our key forward had one shot at goal for the grand total of no goals and no points.

But sure, let's sack the coach for subbing him.

You don’t sub your best key forward. He’s capable of banging 2-3 goals in one qtr, while also being our best relief ruckman. It leaves too much on Gawns shoulders.

What has changed since 2021. Everything was working so well that year in our ball movement. Why did we tinker/regress. Did we become less bold, less risk taking.

i love the optimism some have - wish i could be more like that. BUt i cant see how we come closer than 5 goals. Their forward line is on fire atm and they outclass us in the middle.

In 2021 the theme was to embrace imperfection and in that was the willingness to take calculated risks. Now, we seem to scared to do it.

  9. Leigh Montagna is still frothing over us. He’s the only one that sees we still basically have the same team, the same defensive system that almost doubled the i50’s against Collingwood and had 8 more scoring shots against Carlton.

  10. I’m not too concerned about our defense.
They’re clearly working of fast ball movement but the skills is still a concern. Sometimes they’re biting off more that they can chew but that’s why it’s a practice match. They are looking at what is working and what is not.

Fullarton will probably go onto the long term injury list if his injury is serious, allowing us to add a player.

if that happens a mature ruckman could be the target.

Get on the phone to Cam Pedersen.

At the moment we are looking at

Grundy to Swans for early second round pick 22 is

Jordon to Swans hopefully for after second round pick 33 is

Mcadam in, I think the pick we get for Jordon does this deal

Harmes still looking, unfortunately for Harmes he is worth more to the club than what we will get in return unless it is a part of a package to get a player in or advance our second round pick.

Then we add in pick swapping that may net up another first round pick.

Pretty big couple of weeks coming up

We will be getting nothing for Jordan. He’s a free agent.

Couldn’t get that, flying to Melbourne to watch a game of footy. They (league supporters or the majority of them) don’t understand the passion involved in AFL. Our clubs been down for so long I want to be there when we’re dominating the big games.

That’s crazy. They will always be the no. 2 code with that type of thinking. I love that you’re flying over for it. I’m driving 5 hours for the game myself. Can’t bloody wait.

Can’t wait, my wife and I are flying in from Sydney. My mate and his partner who are Pies supporters are flying in from Perth. I was at a bbq last Saturday explaining this to league supporters and they just couldn’t get….

AFL  is the greatest game in the world, and we’ll be watching the oldest football club in the world play at the greatest sporting stadium. Hopefully back in another couple of weeks to see them hold the cup aloft.

Lesgue tickets are so accessible come finals, says a lot really.

Couldn’t get what? Flying over for the game? If so I can’t get what they couldn’t get…
