I don’t think he’s part of the problem. He plays the secondary sacrificial role. Problem is that JUH and Naughton play the same style of game. Both are stay at home forwards. Either JUH gets on his bike and plays more in the style of Jezza or he goes.

    Nah.

Has anyone here ever met someone that follows North Melbourne?

My wife is a North supporter, don't forget it wasn't that long ago that the MFC were far worse than they are now.

I think they'd rather make the Bont captain/coach and president than trade him

Possibly even rename the club Western Bont too!

I was talking to Beveridge and Peter Gordon tuesday and they both said Bontempelli and JUH won't be going anywhere, wait and see I suppose.

    In - May, Tomlinson, Woewodin

    Out - Hore, Chandler, Billings

    B - McVee, May, Howes

    HB - Rivers, Tomlinson, Lever

    C - Langdon, Viney, Windsor

HF - Neal-Bullen, van Rooyen, Pickett

    F - Fritsch, Petty, Billings

    RUCK - Gawn, Oliver, Petracca

Int - Brown, Sparrow, Salem, Woewodin

So Billings is out, forward pocket and sub, he will do well.

Were you you living under a rock?

The media scrutiny on the whole Essendon drug saga was the biggest media scrutiny  I had seen in the AFL on a club alone.

They literally had cameras parked out the front of James Hirds house from dusk to dawn and nearly drove him to his death. It was constantly front and back page of the Herald Sun for two years.

Both Melksham and Hibberd have been quiet vocal around the intense media scrutiny and the toll it had not only on their mental health but their personal lives as well.

The whole Wayne Carey cheating scandal was a close second even in the day and age where social media wasn't a thing. It was certainly one of the biggest and scandalous stories we've seen.

To think we've copped as much scrutiny as these other events is just laughable. It doesn't even compare.

In both cases they deserved to cop the media attention they did and probably more.

They could still do some media/socials of what they are up to, seeing we are all a bit in shock and going quiet isn't the best way to move on.

No training at Gosch's this morning.

Interestingly, some of the scheduled sessions ( https://www.melbournefc.com.au/teams/training-times ), are later in the morning 11.45 am. Not all are captain's run.

Perhaps they are going to work a bit more on intention/purpose/review prior to hitting the paddock.

I am quite sur they would of completed training somewhere.

You have done a sort if reasonable summary RIF.

Strangely my post earlier comes up with some similar thought's.

I don’t have the apprehension most here have for our mids as I believe perhaps Goody will have to be creative no matter what.
Perhaps he can also be as creative with the forwards as well.

Out of the wreck we may find some rough diamonds who really develop quickly.

Life is always full of opportunities and let’s put faith in the list to produce like youth and some experience can do.

There is a few shoots there who can grab the bull by the horns maybe. Let’s hope, let’s see.

The herald sun journalists this past week rated our midfield as number 1 in the comp. Today they have rated our defence as number 1.

It’s a bit unusual isn’t it, we need to be on our toes Vs Bluebaggers don’t wNt to let them think they have our measure they have recruited well over the past few years.!!

They may have decided to train at a different location away from the prying eyes of the media.
