  1. Jack was a guest on the ABC Kat & Matt show a few Saturdays back.  Kat is apparently good friends with Jack’s sister.  Jack gave the club a wack.  Spoke of having his love for the game drained from him during his time at the dees.  Said the same happened to Jeremy Howe, and how much happier Jeremy was after joining the pies (2021 says hello!).  Mentioned he was not the Jack Viney or Maxy Gawn the coaches wanted him to be.  Felt he was accepted for who he was at Port.  I switched between felling embarrassed and angry at the club, to also being peed off at Jack for bringing it all up again and not mentioning his role in his career outcome.    Sad all round really.

We all need to wear this against Collingwood on KB. Now that would make a statement

Helmet would definitely make a statement, but also vital for ones safety.  I don't feel safe at those games.  Never have, and certainly not now.  There should be some sort of personal safety kit available to hire or purchase, the filth shield or something.

Unless we get a replacement who is as good a ball user as Clarry is an extractor, then that theory is kaput.

I'd rather work on improving Clarry's foot skills than trading him. It worked for Chunk, his kicking early on was woeful

Salem, Billings, Rivers and Windsor running through the middle and delivering i50 should help too

Forward strategies are more the issue. Ban the long bomb, always look at a kick to advantage, get injured/suspended players on the park. More to it than that obviously, but would certainly help

Move over Goodwin, Moonshadow is our man!  You would probably do the job for quite a bit less coin too!

Are there any food outlets or toilet facilities at Gosch’s? Want to take the little guy to training and I just know he’ll want food and definitely need the bathroom. Also are some of the players available for a happy snap and autograph?

If it is a family school holiday open training event at Gosch's, they often hire a few portable toilets and have a coffee van and food truck attend.  Demon Army might also be running a sausage sizzle.  I suggest emailing the club and asking.  I also suggest using the portable loos early, or wear gumboots.

Seriously this incident could make or break the Club for the next 20 years.
We have to be Rock Solid and get Stronger

This last week has left us wounded, but not out….

Agree.  Please let it be the making, not the breaking.  Us supporters have a role here.  We can sign up & go along & support the team, or we can walk away and be part of the breaking.

No doubt The Filth took out Angus in that game

    Premeditated plan executed

    They all loved it

    Eddie shouted “Justice”

These are the [censored] called Collingwood

Young Demons may now understand how much they must be despised and Hated for eternity

Don’t get me started on The AFL

The young demons in my household fully understand this.  The sight/mention/hint of collingpooh leads them to make severe vomit sounds.  Their hearts beat true.

  7. I cannot comment at all on the footy (too busy basking in the sun & freebies!), but I can comment on the event itself.  My girls and I thoroughly enjoyed our time at Casey.  The weather was superb, the crowd seemed in really good spirits and the freebies (coffee, donuts, lip balm, show bags etc.) were a real hit.  We left prior to the match ending but were still able to get a few autographs from very obliging players.  I am pleasantly surprised.  I wasn’t a fan of combining a practice match with a family day, but it was a win for me today.

  8. I just had channel 7 news on for the first time in a decade.  What do I see?  The thug coming on to talk about his mysterious illness.  I keep the channel on 7 despite my revulsion.  The mystery illness he lives with is OCD.  He explained his distress at overthinking and needing to repeatedly check he has locked his door.  Ok mate, but lets put Angus on and let him explain the ins and outs of his concussion experiences and what he experienced in September because of said thug.

Yes had a clear view of the punch that sent Millane to the canvas. Ted won the stoush by a TKO. Millane managed to stand up on very rubbery legs and left the field visibly concussed. John Northey was not impressed it was the last game Ted played.

Recall news of John Fidge, Ted’s more talented younger brother as having some health problems post his footy career too. Wish Ted and his family some satisfactory resolution in dealing with the impact on his health from concussion.

Would be a very positive step forward for the AFL to take meaningful action and accept appropriate responsibility for those former players affected by this affliction

The AFL will only take meaningful action and accept responsibility when it is in their own interest to do so.  Money seems to be the only language the AFL understands.  I hope all the current and future legal action against the AFL forces their hand to make change.

I’m all for bringing in established forward talent to rectify our forward line issues but Darling only managed 26.19 in 20 games in 2023. That is quite frankly a terrible return for a bloke of his stature and presumably expensive contract.

T Mac would easily manage 26 goals in 20 games.

I don't know about recruiting Darling, but his return of 26.19 really needs to be put into context.  West Coast were utterly terrible in 2023.  They had very few winners in any part of the ground.

  11.  McVee!!!!  He seems to just float over the field.  Such composure and natural talent.  Love him.

The joy on the face of  Woewodin and his family when he kicked his first goal.

Joel Smith's performance in Friday nights game and Shaun in the stands loving it.

Our women's team have come out firing in their first 3 games.  Get behind them!

Gee, all this stuff from posters that we are going to get tough and hurt players because Maynard got off is laughable. Who in the hell from our team other than Viney will show any aggression. Fritta maybe ? Your joking. He doesn't even spoil Quaynor or block a player in the goal line when a goal was imminent. We haven't a hard nosed player in this team other than Viney and even he can't come up against the likes of Maynard. Maybe we can turn to Langdon, Chandler, Laurie, Spargo, BBB and the likes. Wouldn't worry me and I'm 70 odd.

Let's all just get back to reality and hope in hell we can bring our A game on Friday and live another day. Just maybe a win then another against the Lions and get the Pies in the GF and the just play the ball and win. Wouldn't that be nice!. Firstly we have the Blues to get over.

Dig the boot in a little deeper why don't you?  Jeepers!

If we don’t happen to get through to the GF and win it , it is as simple as ABC

    (Anyone But Collingwood)

Agree, if it can't be us, it sure in buggery can't be Collingwood.  Never could be, but even more so now.  Filthy, putrid, arrogant pies.  Loose by an incorrect score review, a player injuring themselves in the dying seconds, an earthquake swallowing up the turf.  I don't care.  Just make it as painful as all hell for that club and their disgusting disciples.

  14. Done.  YOU AFL are a bunch of power hungry, self entitled crooks.  I will make it my life mission to ensure you get as little of my money as possible from now on.   I will continue to buy my demons membership, you have my money for Friday nights ticket, but that is it.  I will BYO everything to every game.  I will no longer buy a cent of AFL branded merchandise.  I  will make my own demons gear (my kids will freakin hate me more than they already do!).  I will make a cash donation to my club instead.  FAFF OFF!
