I think our list is capable it's just that we don't do the basics well enough We didn't lay a tackle until the 11 minute mark of the 1st quarter, our pressure throughout the game was up and down Our ball handling was horrible and our decision making was shocking, We don't need a team of superstars we just need 22 players to perform their role which we didn't get enough this season. We weren't good enough this season and when you lose to Freo, Hawthorn and for whatever reason North Melbourne twice we really don't deserve it. I wish Goodwin would speak with a bit more emotion like Clarko does, Goodwin looks like he's reading off a teleprompter in his press conferences everything so scripted. Clarko's passion (anger) had Hawthorn soar to a premiership in 2008. The wins against Adelaide and Essendon showed that when we play well we hardly have a bad player, so I don't think we have an issue with personnel I think the only thing standing in our way is what's going on above the shoulders, we smashed first place and then got beaten by 17th The real concern from yesterday is why we come out cold at the start of the 1st and 3rd, in my opinion the coach and captains aren't demanding enough from their players and they've got every right to demand more I think we have too many players that just think that it's 'going to happen' wouldn't surprise me if in the next 10 yrs the club psychologist becomes a pivotal role in a football team

Puzzled by Goodwin's unforced decision making Put's Hunt up forward when he was killing it down back, really don't understand the change Plays Petracca up forward every week when he is so good in close, desperately needed him in the midfield for the whole game today

Just an observation, but it seems that Goodwin is reluctant to throw numbers behind the ball to stop the momentum. He might throw one back when the tide is against us but I feel that in order to wrestle back the momentum we need to neutralise it first by playing 8 or 9 man defences e.g Beveridge against the Lions.
