got to remember that all the luminaries coaches also hadn't coached a final at some stage, and still had opinions on things...

About a sane as comment as I have ever seen on here. Clive is the benchmark of #1's.

Not directly a pot at you - it's a professional organisation (now) ...of course they've considered this...to whomever they wish to pay overs for currently... -
fair comment @jnrmac- when you put it in those terms...
-
Maybe, just maybe he (kelly) is coming to the dees...never heard word of Lewis prior to it occurring... as a club - we don't do loose lips anymore... Where there is smoke there is fire, isn't the best way of forecasting things in trade land...

Boom! How much is too much for Crows' elite young key defender? http://m.afl.com.au/news/2017-09-12/bowen-is-jake-lever-worth-two-firstrounders -
sounds like - he won't be requesting, however the club are aware of their duty of care to ensure that someone with well being/lifestyle/personal issues who clearly doesn't want to engage in the process within their club is still looked after (and they still get a deal of someone with potential) - I dare say all parties will be happy if Brisbane can get something that matches what satisfies them to get him off their books...

the sooner Adelaide get knocked out, the sooner this all gets clarified...and thats far more important than the 2017 premiership. -

Elaborate please... -
how long should they be 'ashamed' before they're allowed to move on out of curiosity? is there a peak shame period that converts to desire for the following year?

Why the hate for Geelong... as opposed to their coach? Some people can't differentiate... Geelong finished second and quite frankly can match any team ...aside from Sydney...I just don't see how you can see they are not good enough...

sigh...is it done yet, or what.... -
why do people need to see 'suffering' to believe that the players/staff care...or that suffering/distress actually propels them forward...?
-
love it - how do you know this when you're up on the sunny coast?

If you're mail is using the word 'likely'...walk away...

Any possibility we keep trade rumours for trade rumours rather than opinions about personnel that have already been discussed on other threads? Or is this all the fun of Demonland?

It's on!! - https://www.facebook.com/TheZanottiFiles/ I'd say Zanotti has around a 95% strike rate #LeverWatch It's going to take a very large offer to change the course of Jake Lever's future. It's our understanding that he has verbally committed to Melbourne for 2017 and beyond. -
Cool as bro, different wavelengths clearly.

These guys are paid hundreds of thousands of dollars at the end of the day to kick a footy. Thats a HELL of a lot more money than the vast majority of us make slaving 9-5, 5 days a week. Many of these guys are living their dream and can set themselves up for the rest of their lives if they have the appititude. For me, I think this point is irrelevant, they don't ask for the money at the particular rate of knots., Its part of revenue sharing in a sport which is valued as entertainment , and unfortunately sport is about genetic giftedness first...then its about application. Unlike other industries where it is cognitive (which some would argue is still genetic giftedness as well as environmental circumstances). Some of them are under performing and should be under scruitiny. Again, most of us would have some sort of perfromance reviews at work. Guess what happens when we dont do our jobs? We are disciplined in one way or another or worst case, get canned. Well, they are under scrutiny,..permanently no one goes out there to not play well - or as common parlance has it - without desire, gumption, hunger... They're under scrutiny from each other, supporters, family, coaches and themselves daily/weekly...take it from me, the stressors due to the scrutiny are far more than mere mortals who work in non visible non entertainment industries. Shame, embarrassment, frustration, anxiety all in a public space...its a hard hard place to exist, its isolating at times...and the coin doesn't make it any easier, in of itself.($ doesn't buy happiness etc etc)
