I asked David Neitz about JV at the BF. He said If he's good enough he'll be playing for Melbourne.

The club has a heap of respect for Brad. I didnt mean to sound so blunt, I was just passing on the news that he wont be at the club next year. He has no plans to head to the Gold Coast either. If he's not picked up by another Vic club he will play VFL or local footy.

Miller wont be playing this week. He was told during the week he's no longer in our plans and will be moved on at seasons end.

First time I've seen Blease and Tappy play live. I have to say they both looked very good at times. Looking forward to seeing them both have a big pre season along with Gysberts. Im a bit disapointed with Strauss, he seems to have droped off a bit. Anyway good win today and Miller will have to come In next week.

Frawley got the better of him earlier In the year but that was mainly because Jack couldnt kick staight.

He's playing mate. Shifter said today Jack Is realy coming along this year and should star In the U16 nats. Keep us posted. Cheers

dont expect Sylvia back this week. He's still having troubles with his foot.

Fair enough LJ's coming off a long injury but If you take the feild at least have a crack. He didnt chase at all, his 2nd efforts were very poor and just didnt even try to get into the game. Hopefully his next game he gets involved a bit more.

James Strauss will step into this roll as time goes on

LJ will be back playing at Casey either next week or the week after according to one of the trainers

Stupid comment mate! He will be given time to get his leg right as he's a great talent with a heap of up side. He was drafted young so he has a heap of time on his hands.

In the long run James Strauss will be a great running half back. I think he could take the position.

I thought that today also. He looked good sprinting in bursts but was struggling trying to keep up with the others when he had to run more than 50 meters. Id say he'll need a few weeks at Casey before we see him line up for the Dees. Would be great If he could be back for QB but I don't think he'll make it.

Was at the Junction oval today watching Jurrah, Strauss, and Spencer going through a few drills. I couldn't help but notice LJ moving so freely, leading and marking over his head at full pace. I asked how far away he Is and was told he's ahead of schedule, maybe playing 2's In a couple of weeks.

I walked passed Sam in the Casey car park. I was leaving at half time of the 1s. I asked him how he went and said he got through OK and said his leg was fine. Surprising to hear he may have an injury. Maybe he lied to me.

I saw him against Geelong a few weeks ago and thought he looked good. Took some good grabs on the lead, did some classy things around the ground, Set up a couple of goals. He just needs to work on his intensity around the ball and go a bit harder sometimes. Everyone needs to take a chill pill!

Morton is back to full running and is well ahead of time. I saw him doing all sorts of drills with Wona and bell this week at the Junction. Cale was on Nova last week and mentioned he's a few weeks away.

I'll be there for the 2's as a couple of my mates play for Mulgrave. Off to the G after that. I assume we'll have a few dees playing In the seniors?
