I am going to the game on Thursday night in Adelaide, have not been there before - is there somewhere where all the Dees supporters sit? Don't really feel like being surrounded by Port filth.

The second verse of our theme song has been out of favour for a while given it's some time since '39 and '26. If we win the premiership this year, I believe it will be a good time to revive it, and offer the following adaption of Bluey Truscott's' verse: Oh, the team played fine with the spirit of Stynes, We're the Demons that no one can bait And you'll find us there at the final bell With the spirit of twenty-one eight.

But who do you think is more likely to take a game apart or kick a crucial goal in an elimination final?

I just do not understand why you wouldn't get Watts straight back in the team after Weideman's sub-par performance. Assuming we make an elimination final, most likely against Port or the Swans at their home grounds, who is more of a potential match winner in such a game? Who would you trust with the ball for a set shot 45 metres out? (please see the Collingwood game if you need convincing) If Weideman had played a blinder -clunked a few marks and kicked 4 goals, sure. But it's not the time to blood players now. We need our best 22 on the track and with only two games before a break and then a do or die final Watts should be finding his form in the ones not the twos.

Hopefully they don't lay 150+ tackles on us as they did last year. That was the most frustrating game to watch; whenever a Demon got even a sniff of the ball, he was mauled.

Does anyone know how Greg Healy's son is going? (I think it's Luke). Would be great to have Viney, Stretch and Healy kicking around in the same team. Does Strawbs O'Dwyer have a son??
