    Rams once again flop.
McVay once again doesn’t run it, thinks he is the genius people say he is. But seriously he can’t coach from behind. He chooses dumb options like trying to get 8 yards instead of kicking the FG.

Stafford is showing why he was at Detroit for so long. I thought he would be better, but he really isn’t that great.
Our D can’t tackle, the niners ran through their arms like they were wet tissues, and they should sack Morris, he has a great D and we are crap.

That pass from Stafford to OBJ  intercepted by Ward early sums up Stafford for me, what was he thinking?
Was great for us to have Jimmie Ward back, he doubled his career interceptions total in this game.

Our gameplan was pretty simple, ground and pound, or get it to Deebo, he's been immense this year.

  2. Had to pick something up at Highpoint on Saturday, the AFL Shop has quite a lot of the Knight designed merch in stock, as well as stickers/stubby holders/mugs etc.

Rebel had the Jerseys with the team on the back, polo tops and scarves. All looked OK in person

And picked up these three high gloss print/photos from Taylor Made, they were due to be framed but I requested them without being framed, were $20 each, somewhere between A4 and A3 size I guess. (magazine for scale)

  3. Hunt's loss was Bowey's gain. Feel for him as we having a good, consistent season, kept to the one position for once and was really playing to his strengths with that run off half back.  For mine is still in our best 22/23, ahead of Hibberd as he's a better rebounder, albeit a negligibly lesser defender. Bowey may well have a couple of sophomore form dips, so competition for this spot will be hotly contested.

  4. Had a fantastic year, his ability to run the length of the field to help out at both ends is a real asset.

He's exactly the Isaac Smith clone we were looking for, except he's 25 and Smith is 32.

That Grand Final goal, as already highlighted, showcases just how great a runner he is.
What a bargain trade he's turned out to be from Freo!

Looks like they copy-pasted the blurb from the Richmond 2019 version!

Tiger Triumph: The Pictorial History of Richmond's 2019 Premiership uses stunning images from AFL Media’s photographers to tell the story of their 2019 AFL Premiership triumph.

Tracking the highs, lows and thrilling conclusion to the winning team’s dream run to the Premiership dais, Tiger Triumph captures the defining moments of the season, from the first ragged sprints of pre-season training to the giddy highs of a remarkable finals series —all culminating in the colour and pageantry of the one day great in September.

If you go back to 2016 he said almost identical things about the Tigers and I'd recommend you all try find this and have a read.

It is actually now a good thing for Buckenara to not rate you, as you will likely win the flag the next year.

He is honestly a complete joke of a list analyst and has no clue.

I can't believe they've been paying him to write these columns for 5 years, but here it is:

Gary Buckenara analyses Richmond’s list after 2016 season

RICHMOND’s list lacks a combination of A and B-grade talent and their trade target shouldn’t be Travis Cloke but another Magpie instead. GARY BUCKENARA analyses Richmond’s list.

"I don’t think the list they’ve got right now is good enough to win a premiership."

The team then went on to win 3 of the next 4 Premierships!

So yeah, lets hope Bucky continues to rate Petracca a B-grader, Tim English an A-grader and picks Carlton for the flag next year...

  7. It's almost a given that he will undertake gradual reintroduction via Casey, probably a 60% game time match then a full match.  And when he completes those yes he's an automatic in.  Assuming casey is back playing.

There's a reason Darren Burgess is so highly rated, as he is able to sensibly manage players re-entry. Brown and Weeds both saw this.  The Lions player that re injured his hamstring against us after only 2 weeks out shows the folly of rushing players back.

  8. It would have to be a Fox Footy mandated timeslot change  wouldnt it, to fill the void left by Thursday night Footy bizarrely being shelved again despite near unanimous favour for it.

The whole floating fixture at both levels is also a nightmare, it'd be nice to be able to plan ahead when I can try and get to Casey games.

He does and can impact games, surprisingly well. I'd have him on the bench as a spare tap ruck, as a backman, as a forward within range.

We have a spare ruckman in Luke Jackson, why on earth would we pick Daw ahead of him?
