Re: Oscar, I believe Mahoney said he will be on the list in some capacity in 2021.
Happy with the outcomes from this period. Hannan and Preuss were surplus to requirements, we added Brown to our forward line and did very well in trading our picks, leaving us with those two first rounders that we can do something with closer to the draft.
A little more pace on the opposite wing would have been handy but we'll see how we go in house over the summer.
I think we're well placed through this to get back into the finals race in 2021.
Mahoney said Oscar hasn’t been offered a contract for next season on Trade Radio this afternoon.

Why would we come out in the media and lay down our cards for getting players. Its doesnt make any sense. Trade period hasnt even started yet.
In saying that if we dont get anymore players (for wing etc) then JM is an [censored].
Because they are trying to appease a frustrated supporter base.
Melbournes 1 wood is marketing and Mahoney is out of his depth.- 1

More from the ever-reliable Ricky Nixon’s AFL Trade Scoops on Facebook —• Cedric Cox from Brisbane has requested trade back to WA home Fremantle set to offer him three years and West Coast has offered him two years.

• Shaun McKernan will tour St Kilda facilities very soon.
• Devon Smith despite being linked to Collingwood talks / he told the club he wishes to stay at Essendon next year.

Clark / Menengola from Geelong should be our number 1 targets.
How much cap space can Geelong have... press hard for some of their quality who may be getting unders.- 2

B: SALEM, MAY, LEVER
HB: RIVERS, TOMLINSON, HIBBERD
C : LANGDON, PETRACCA, PHILIPS
HF: MELKSHAM, JACKSON, FRITSCH
F: PICKETT, B.BROWN, WEIDEMAN
FOLL: GAWN, OLIVER, VINEY
IC: BRAYSHAW, JONES, HUNT, HORE
Pretty accurate, but still a worry with a one dimensional midfield, need more outside run / flare.
Hope MFC can deliver.- 2

Pressure is building on Geelong to come up with a pay rise to keep breakout star Sam Menegola beyond the end of the next season.
The 28-year-old had a career-best year in 2020, making his first All Australian squad as the Cats reached the grand final.
But his future will be clouded until he puts pen to paper on a new deal, with 7NEWS Perth’s Ryan Daniels reporting rival clubs are standing by to chase Menegola.
Geelong signed Hawthorn wingman Isaac Smith, who turns 32 in December, on Friday.
As part of their tilt at a premiership they will also add GWS forward Jeremy Cameron and North Melbourne midfielder Shaun Higgins by the end of the trade period.
But while those additions were seen as reasonable given Gary Ablett has retired and the Cats had salary cap space previously earmarked to re-sign Tim Kelly, Menegola’s emergence was not so predictable.
Blokes a gun, would be a fantastic pick up!

I actually think if he trims down and makes a move back to CHB he will be a great pick up for another club.

Please no, this bloke is delist material. Can’t defend and a turnover king. I remember watching him one day live thinking how is he on an AFL list.

Perhaps we aren't the destination club people think we are...
Tmac staying?? No takers or we have decided to keep him?
iirc the only people who have linked us to Brown are those who see we need a tall fwd, Brown is available so 2+2=5.
Anyone that thinks the MFC is a destination club has their head in the sand.

Nev has been an absolute warrior for us, can’t have done much more.
He is running on empty though, what on earth do Collingwood want him for?
They want him for indigenous culture /leadership

Dees have a habit of over paying with long contracts to get players into the club. Not sustainable if you want success.

I've had premium membership for 15 years with GF guarantee OD. I'll be doing similar to your mates.
Without a job thanks to covid and no guarantee we can attend matches I just can't fathom spending that sort of money anymore.
Same here, long-standing Redleg member, disgruntled with ongoing under performing of the club.
Will seriously consider membership choice next yr.- 2

Brett Anderson, former Inside footy / draft guru and mad demon supporter now working in Port Adelaide’s recruitment team would be a good person to reach out to get into our recruitment team.
Ports recruitment has been exceptionally good the last few years and Brett is a vital part of that team.- 5
